Cape buffalo, elephant and black-and-white colobus monkey can all be spotted in this beautiful corner of Kenya.

An exciting afternoon game drive safari at Lake Nakuru National Park – This park is most famous for the thousands of fabulous flamingo which gather at the shores of the lake. This is the only place in the world where you can photograph a rare black rhino against the back drop of ashimmering sea of pink flamingo!
Staying at Lion Hill Lodge – This lodge is ideally situated for some of the best views in Kenya. All rooms overlook the lake, as does the Rift Valley Bar, where you can enjoy a cold drink on a hot afternoon! The Flamingo Restaurant, meanwhile, offers views over the deep and dramatic Rift Valley.
Early morning game drive in Lake Nakuru, before departing for the fantastic Masai Mara. Even en route there are game viewing opportunities, so keep your eyes peeled for antelope, zebra and various bird species. At the Masai Mara, you will have a good chance of spotting the fabled “Big Five” – cape buffalo, Masai lion, elephant, black rhino and leopard. Staying at Keekorok Lodge – This lodge was the first one built in the area. The rooms are chalets in bungalow like buildings and all of them feature en suite bathrooms.

Head south towards Lake Victoria. You will cross into Tanzania via the Isebania border post. Driving along the lake shore, you will stop at Musoma, where a speedboat will be waiting to transfer you to LukubaIsland on the waters of Lake Victoria.
Staying at the Lukuba Island Lodge – a private island retreat where you can swim in the warm waters of the lake, spot birds and watch monitor lizards lazing on giant granite boulders on the island’s shores.
Take a thrilling safari game drive towards the Serengeti – This world-famous national park is home to the African “Big Five” along with giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, monkeys, baboons, hippo and antelope. For those whovisit at the right time of year, there is also the chance to see the Great Migration in full swing.
