Day 1

Transfer from the airport by one of our drivers.  Arrive at the Sarova Stanley, in the heart of Nairobi, where you will overnight. Staying at theSarova Stanley – A wonderful city hotel with first class amenities, comfortable rooms and attentive and friendly service.  A choice of restaurants, a relaxed bar, modern gym and swimming pool all ensure your stay here will be relaxing and rejuvenating after a long journey.

Day 2

Leave Nairobi and arrive in the Masai Mara in the afternoon.  Take a thrilling safari game drive in the Masai Mara –  this park is known as being one of the best places in Kenya to spot the ‘Big Five’ –  cape buffo, elephant, black rhino, leopard and lion.  The topography of this national park is beautiful, dramatic and diverse, and you should see some spectacular sunrises and sunsets during your time here.

Staying at the Mara Serena Safari Lodge – Perched on the saddle of a hill, spectacular views of the expansive Mara plains can be enjoyed from this lodge, and indeed from your own room!  There is also a lovely outdoor swimming pool, spa treatment rooms and a restaurant overlooking a floodlit watering hole!

Day 3

Full day to explore the Masai Mara, perhaps exploring areas you may not have seen on your first day, or looking for animals you have not yet seen. Staying at the Mara Serena Safari Lodge

Day 4

An exciting afternoon game drive safari at Lake Nakuru National Park – This park is most famous for the thousands of fabulous flamingo which gather at the shores of the lake.  This is the only place in the world where you can photograph a rare black rhino against the back drop of a shimmering sea of pink flamingo!

Staying at Lion Hill Lodge – This lodge is ideally situated for some of the best views in Kenya.  All rooms overlook the lake, as does the Rift Valley Bar, where you can enjoy a cold drink on a hot afternoon!  The Flamingo Restaurant, meanwhile, offers views over the deep and dramatic Rift Valley.

Day 5

Depart Nakuru for Amboseli.  This national park is famed for the free-ranging elephants which can be found traversing the wide-open, flat plains in huge herds. Mount Kilimanjaro looms on the horizon, and is usually more visible during early morning game drives when the clouds have cleared.

Staying at the Amboseli Serena Lodge – A luxury lodge set against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro.  The dining terrace offers view of a swamp where animals come to drink, and the outdoor pool is a great place to cool down.
