Your journey begins in the Central Kalahari Game Reserve where you will explore ancient sand dunes and sight the iconic black-maned Kalahari lions who frequently visit the eco-friendly Tau Pan Camp. During your stay at Tau Pan, you will have the opportunity to experience game drives, day trips to the well-known Deception Valley, Sunday, Piper and Passarge Pans, star gazing, bush brunches on Tau
Next, you visit Nxai Pan National Park which is renowned for the second largest animal migration in Southern Africa. Thousands of zebra travel to the open grasslands of the pans and Nxai Pan Camp affords guests a front row seat to this spectacle. Day trips to Baines Baobabs and walking with San bushmen trackers are also popular activities.
Your adventure continues to the banks of the Kwando River which is frequently visited by big game, elephant, buffalo and a wild dog pack that loves to den close to the camp. Kwando Lagoon Camp affords spectacular views of the river from the main deck and is the place to be when predators lurk.
Your final destination is the private Kwara Concession in the world-famous Okavango Delta. Splash Camp is a brand new addition to the delta, offering a more private safari experience with only ten en-suite tents. The surrounding pan and both the permanent and seasonal floodplains make Splash Camp the ideal safari destination year round. Accommodation: Tau Pan Camp
Today you check in at Maun Airport for your scheduled charter flight to Tau Pan. On arrival, you will be met and transferred by road to camp.
During your stay at Tau Pan, you can look forward to daily game drives, star gazing and nature walks.
During game drives, be sure to look out for the black-maned Kalahari lions, oryx, the desert-adapted springbok, jackals, the rare brown hyena,
The night sky in the Kalahari is unlike anything you could have ever imagined so be sure to make good use of the telescope provided by the camp.
Accommodation: Nxai Pan
After one final safari activity and a sumptuous breakfast, you gather your belongings and transfer back to the airstrip for your scheduled charter flight to Nxai Pan. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to the 100% solar powered camp where you will have some time to enjoy the facilities before your afternoon safari activity.
A must during your stay at Nxai Pan is the walk with San bushmen trackers and Learn about their way of life: how they hunt, gather food, water sources, and which plants are used for medicinal purposes.
Accommodation: Kwando Lagoon Camp
Today you head back to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to the Linyanti game reserve. On arrival, you will be met and transferred by road to the camp.
During your stay at Kwando Lagoon
Be sure to look out for the resident wild dog pack that den close to the camp and the large herds of elephants that gather in the pan.
Accommodation: Splash Camp
After a hearty breakfast, you gather your belongings and head back to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Kwara airstrip. On your arrival, you will be collected and transferred by road to the camp for check-in.
During your stay at the new Splash Camp, you will have the opportunity to experience morning and evening game drives conducted in open safari vehicles and led by a professional guide and tracker, guided bush walks that afford up-close encounters with the diverse fauna, flora and smaller wondrous creatures of the bush; relaxing mokoro (dugout canoe) excursions, fishing excursions (available ten months out of the year), boating excursions and bird watching.
The Kwara concession is home to an abundance of wildlife including fantastic animals like the leopard, cheetah, wild dog, lion, elephant, buffalo, and zebra. There are also over 300 bird species to be spotted on your safari.
Today you bid farewell to the Okavango Delta as you transfer back to the airstrip for your scheduled charter flight back to Maun Airport. Once you arrive, you will connect with your onward travel arrangements.
