This three-day safari explores the pristine 10000 hectares of Eastern Cape Wilderness in the malaria-free Kariega Game Reserve. The Reserve is unique because it is located in the coastal belt of 1820 Settler Country and incorporates two picturesque river valleys.
Kariega River Lodge connects Kariega Game Reserve to the sea and offers all the comforts and luxuries one would expect from a superior 4-star lodge. A daily boat cruise travels to the quaint village of Kenton-on-sea where guests can enjoy beautiful swimming beaches.
On this three day tour, you will experience exhilarating morning and afternoon open vehicle game drives, guided bush walks, boat cruises to the beach, and excellent fishing and canoeing. You may also wish to relax and indulge in a range of treatments offered at the Kariega Wellness Center.
Apart from lion and elephant, the game reserve is home to the other three members of the Big 5 - rhino, buffalo, and leopard. Other species abound such as hippo, hyena, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, eland, kudu, waterbuck and a variety of other antelope, as well as a myriad of bird species including the nesting crowned eagle, martial and fish eagles.

"Thanks for really good and helpful service. I had two bookings which I had to combine, this proved to be no problem. Although the person I originally made was on leave , Tanyia was more than willing to step in and assist, answering any questions I had. All of the above was done efficiently and quickly. Thank you for the positive interaction."

"Amazing! That was my first time to be in Africa. Before the trip i was not sure about Safari.com. Because of many speculative things about Africa. But it was a beautiful country i have ever seen. Safari.com helped me about transfers and lodge very quickly. I was very pleased about the Lodge and all employees. Thank you Safari.com."
