Experience the best of the Kruger National Park in just 3 days. While you absorb the unspoiled wilderness, your stay in Kruger is maximised by professional guides who lead morning and evening game drives. These drives provide ample opportunity to spot lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and buffalo also known as big five
The tour accommodation will depend on the availability at Pretoriuskop Rest Camp. Allocations are made with these camps, but if all slots have been filled, availability will be checked and booked elsewhere in the park.
Morning Walk - A walk in the Kruger Park affords you the opportunity to experience the bush from a totally different perspective. You really do get up close and personal with Africa's wild animals, insects, trees and birds. Qualified trail guides take you on a 3-hour walk where there is a chance you could encounter some of Africa's Big 5 on foot but the focus is rather on the smaller animals and interesting aspects of the bush that only a bushwalk can offer. This activity is available at an additional ZAR 570.00 per person and needs to be pre-booked with your consultant when you confirm your safari with us. This activity is dependent on availability.
Panorama Route - Our full day Panorama Route tour covers the best sights of this famous South African sightseeing route. We will include the Three Rondavels, Blyde River Canyon, Bourke's Luck Potholes, God's Window and the glass elevator near the town of Graskop. This tour is available at an additional cost of ZAR 795.00 per person and needs to be pre-booked with your consultant when you confirm your safari with us. If you choose to do the Panorama Route, you forfeit your morning and afternoon drive in the Kruger Park as there is not enough time to include both activities. You cannot book a Panorama Route tour whilst on safari. (Kindly note that this excursion is not available on the first or last day of your safari due to time constraints). All entry fees and the glass elevator are included in the price. Lunch is excluded.
Children are welcome however we regret that children under 6 years old are not permitted on open vehicle game drives.
• Important to note is that groups will stay exclusively within the Kruger National Park and its facilities, not leaving the grounds unless necessitated by lack of availability.
• Depending upon availability, it may be necessary to stay in different camps while on safari.
• Guests leaving Johannesburg by plane on day four urged to not book flights departing earlier than
• Depending on flight schedules, guests departing from Nelspruit on the last day may not have time to take the panorama route.
Accommodation: Pretoriuskop Rest Camp
You depart from Johannesburg between 06:30 – 08:30 to allow for various collection points. The drive takes you through the wide open spaces of the Highveld, down the escarpment and through the scenic Lowveld area. You stop for lunch en-route (own expense) and reach the Kruger National Park and camp in the afternoon.
After settling into your accommodations, you go out on your first game drive which is a SAN PARKS sunset drive. A sunset drive affords you the opportunity to see nocturnal animals that are more active at night and the Park’s rangers are allowed to return after the normal gate closing times. Note that these drives take place in one of the Kruger Park’s vehicles with a Park’s ranger. This is not a private game drive and there may be other guests on this drive.
Dinner is a three-course meal, served al fresco at the private camp. Guests are welcome to bring along additional drinks which can be purchased at the camp shop.
Accommodation: Pretoriuskop Camp
Safaris are all about early mornings, getting out there and seeing animals! After an early wake-up call (the time varies according to the seasons and park gate opening times) you have tea or coffee & rusks (dried biscuits to be dunked in your drink!) You then set off on the morning safari which will take approximately 3-4 hours. Your guide has an intimate knowledge of the park, which contributes a great deal towards brilliant sightings!
On returning to camp, breakfast/brunch will be ready to enjoy. You then have time to enjoy a swim, visit the park shop which includes African curios, general food items, and drinks, take a walk around the camp, or simply relax at the viewing platform in front of the restaurant. The camp is also a bird watcher’s paradise! Be sure to bring along your binoculars!
After a siesta, you set off on the afternoon game drive. All game drives are conducted in specially adapted 4x4 open game drive vehicles to allow guests the best possible vantage point.
Later, you share safari stories at the campfire under the stars after a scrumptious dinner served at camp.
Accommodation: Own Arrangements

Jonathan is an excellent cook, the food was very tasty."

"It was a fantastic experience. Sue our guide was a wealth of knowledge and patience. We could have not have asked for a more professional approach and her knowledge was bountiful. Carien our cook provided fantastic food with more than enough for everyone. Would recommend the Outlook Team to everyone. We were collected from our hotel on time and driven in a safe manner to and from Kruger.Carien who did our booking was extremely prompt in replying to my numerous trivial questions and was always ready to answer everything. Our overall experience was thoroughly enjoyable and will recommend it to everyone."

"10 out of 10! I can honestly sum up my experience in just one word. Amazing! We were picked up from our place of residence in Pretoria by our guide, driven to the Kruger Park & then enjoyed a very pleasant and exciting 3 days at Kruger. Our guide was extremely effecient, helpful & knowlegable. We saw so much wildlife during our short stay & the experience will forever be imprinted in my memory. We also had our own personal chef! The food was delicious & the company was fun and friendly. I'll definitely go back and will again book with Outlook Safaris, as I feel it is real value for money. We had a fantastic scenic drive back to Pretoria, stopped for breakfast and lunch and feasted our eyes on the beautiful landscape. Thank you once again for such a memorable 3 days."
- Albert Martincich
"I didn't know what to expect when I booked this safari. I couldn't have imagined it would be as great as it was. Our tour guide was so wonderful. He was fun and professional at the same time. He was also very knowledgable. The meals that were made for us by our cook were also fantastic. There isn't one thing I can think of that I would have wanted to be better. I only wish I could have stayed longer. I would definitely recommend this safari to anybody. I am already telling everybody I know that they have to go and do this trip. Thank you for the time of my life!"
- Dave Spiezer
"We had a fabulous time at the park. Our tour group, Outlook Safari's, were knowledgeable, helpful and made out trip special. We will return at some point and use Outlook again."
- Dave Spiezer
"I would highly recommend this trip. The guides and drivers were professional, knowledgeable and personable, the accommodation lovely - old-fashioned, no-frills comfortable and appropriate. The food was fabulous, served under the stars with aplomb. Despite the fact that the Kruger was recovering from major flooding, we saw a wonderful variety of game in the fantastic landscape. I loved the fact this was a group with an environmental outlook and ethical, respectful approach to the animals and the land. Not for those needing indulgence and showmanship; great for those wanting an outdoor experience with integrity. Well done."
- Maureen Zetler
"The 3 Days Kruger experience is one of the most memorable experience I will forever treasure. The park itself is a heaven itself plus the trip was made more exciting and fun by our camp staffs Kylie, H and Jonathan... Definitely more people from the Philippines will visit Kruger when they'll see our photos. Many thanks and MABUHAY!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day safari to Kruger National park. The team were so friendly and helpful and during our safari's we saw most animals. The knowledge of Willim was exceptional and went a long way to making the safari a success. I believe we are now one up on him as on our way out of the park we had an up close and personal experience with a cheetah, as close as we did with the lions. FANTASTIC. You should keep trying to get the sunset tours as the Park does not run them anywhere near as well as you do. Accommodation was good and Jonathan's meals were very enjoyable.Once again thank you for a great experience.RegardsNoel and Gayle"
- Noel Flanders
"Although travelling alone for these 3 days, this was a really great way to see Kruger and learn more about the Park and South Africa. The mixed group from all over the world were really friendly, and Willem was a fantastic guide - sharing his tremendous knowledge and experience in just the right way at the right times. The accomodation was clean and comfortable, and there was plenty of very nice food and wine.No leopards this time, but amazing to get to see many other animals.Definitely recommended to anyone considering this tour."
- Annabel Clarke
"Tour itself was fine. Kruger Park was amazing! My only problem involved the pick-up. I was told I was to be picked up between 7 and 7:30 at the Intercontinental Hotel. After waiting in the lobby for an hour I rang up to be told that the driver had spoken to the hotel staff and upon deciding that I wasn't staying there (the hotel booking was in a slightly different name) left without:1. waiting till 7 to see if I showed anyway2. he failed to walk the lobby to see if I was there3. he failed to ring me (he had my number)The bus then had to turn around and come an get me, delaying the rest of the tour by hours."
- Hugo Kaag
"My wife and I had a wonderful time on the 3 day safari/scenic drive! Not sure how many times I said "wow", but it was many!"
- Daren Jarisch
"My trip to Kruger was stunning. I got to see the big 5 and many other animals in their own habitat. Really cool. Hope to do it again someday!"
- Jeff Lynn
"We visited Kruger Park in March and it was a wonderful experience from the very beginning to the end. Our tour guide, Villem, I'm not sure if I spell the name correctly, if not, sorry, was just amazing, right man in the right place; he had the passion, knowledge and the sense of humour that it takes to do great job. He made us all feel relaxed, taken care of and also aware of the miracles of nature that we were able to see. He knew where to take us and he had the right hunch. Also between the rides he was great to talk to and fun. The accommodation in the huts was lovely, it gave us a taste of Africa, the food was delicious and the chef such a nice guy. Also the man who picked us up from the Nelspruit airport, unfortunately I can't remember his name but it was March 17 around 10 am, was a great road companion and a great help because my luggage did not get to Nelspruit from Jo'burg and I did not really have to worry about anything because he took care of it and when we came back from our first afternoon ride my suitcase was waiting for me in the van, which was a huge relief. Luckily we were able to see the Big 5 and more so we were delighted, and driving through the Park was amazing, it's like nothing that we had seen before. We are already thinking of coming back to Kruger :-)Wonderful experience and we strongly recommend it."

"The 3 day Kruger Park Safari has an excellent planning and organization, all the staff are helpful and friendly. Transport, accommodation, food and tours around the park were excellent. I really enjoy the tour and I have the opportunity to watch most of the animals."
- Guillermo Penaranda
"I stayed at the Skuzuka camp site in one of the bungalows. The outlook tour guides were fabulous. Kylie, francois, Moises and Adel are a great asset to the company. What was included upon the tour was unexpected. The dinners and. Real fast were great. We saw all the bug 5 animals which was great. I would definitely go back. They even to us to God's Window, Lisbon falls and Blyde canyon... Going to these sites was totally unexpected, but worth the trip. The sites were breathtaking. Thank you."
- Lisa Green
"Bradley and Willie were absolutely fabulous. Extremely knowledgeable and easy-going."
- Jamie Tice
"We had a wonderful 3 days in the Kruger park, Saw all the big 5. Especially, fortunate to see a pride of lions with 5 cubs. I did not know how the food etc was to be served or how, Delighted as this was in a mess tent with all the travelers, I say all there were 12, of various nationalities. The food was extremely good and well presented. My wife and I are in our 60's and all the rest in their 30's. but we all got well and the conversations did not dry up, or the wine after dinner. The Guides and helpers were most helpful, thanks for a great experience."
- Cyril Scott
"Our 3 day safari was perfect, all the stuff was very nice and friendly. Our accommodation in the chalet was very nice. Breakfast and dinner could be more generous."
- Kotsiorou Christina
"Had a great trip and everything was so well arranged by the tour of outlook safari . Lodge at Johannesburg was great and people were very cooperative . Bfast served Hot and fresh . Rooms were value for money , not luxurious but very comfortable . At Kruger rooms were run down but nothing to do ith outlook safari as they are managed by kruger park. Outlook safari people took good care and did everything in bad weather to keep us happy ."
- Navish Gupta
"we've been looking forward to our trip to the kruger park, but didn't know what to expect. the tours were very well organized, trips in the park, food and accommodation. we saw lot's of animals in a very relaxed and humoristic way(all big 5!). not only have we recommended it at home, but it's worthwhile to repeat it for us as well. it was an eye opener that an amazing park as the Kruger park is there to partake in the beauty of flora and fauna of the world"
- Shirley Lo-A-Njoe
"Me and my friend booked this tour without much intel about what you do on a safari and just a general idea that we want to go to Kruger. The tour was very well organized. All the small things were thought about. Our guides were very professional - always on time (which is not something that can be taken for granted in Africa). Very knowledgeable and most important - really easy going and fun to be around.I would definitely suggest the tour to anyone that wants to have a truly enjoyable, hassle free safari experience."
- Inese Kronberga
"My husband and I had a great time on the three day safari. The tour guides and drivers were all very professional, helpful and friendly. We saw all the animals we hoped for and more. The food and wine was surprisingly good and there was a very convivial atmosphere. The lodge style accommodation was fine, although I would have preferred contemporary African print soft furnishings, and we were well provided for at the Skukuza camp. We joined and left the safari at Nelspruit Airport. On the last day the weather was appalling, which spoilt some of the views on the panorama route drive, but we really appreciated the skill and efforts of our driver Mos who delivered us safely and in good time to the airport."
- Joan Tilburn and Barry Walker
"We booked a 3 day tour for my 91 year old father and 82 year old mother. They were very well catered for and all of their needs taken care of. Willie and Debbie were particularly good with them and they loved every moment of their time at the Park. Thank you."
- JANICE NEARY
"From the moment we were picked up until we were dropped off, everything was a breeze. The guides and drivers were very knowledgeable about the park and the animals, and we were served delicious food every morning and evening. I look forward to using Outlook when I return to South Africa."
- Arthur Spring
"Best company we saw in the park! Our morning rides were equipped with hot water bottles and ponchos to keep us dry and warm, which were essential in the winter. Our tour guide, Bretton, seemed to know everything about the park, from its construction to the animals to the geologic history of the area. The food was all great, dinners were all 3 courses with wine. It was amazing what could be prepared in a tent, especially when you never knew what the baboons were going to leave you with! Accomodations were really good, somewhat rustic but you really weren't in your room other than to sleep anyways. And finally, Willy was the best! He picked us up on time from our hotel, drove us to and from the park. He personally took us in to Park Station in Jo'Burg to make sure we made it on to our train safely. Without his help here, we would have very likely missed our train. Willy saved our trip! Would definitely recommend using this company to anyone who asked!"
- jeff bollig
"(Almost) everything was great. Accommodations are stellar, and cool, food great, all tour guides were fabulous (except one evening, the guide seemed a little bored and drove for long stretches without talking to us - a minor quibble - he was nice, just not as super as the others). 3 days was enough for us - I thought I wanted 5, my friend suggested 3 and it was enough since you're basically repeating the same thing every day. The only reason to stay longer is in case you have several unsuccessful outings. We never saw a leopard but we saw everything else, and so I was content."
- Deb Victoroff
"The 3 day tour was great with a lot of exciting game views, interesting background information and excellent catering. Overhead of transport to and from the park was higher than expected (partially caused by delays during pick-up and very bad weather during the return panorama route), so I would recommend booking at least 4 days or trying to fly in near Kruger Park."
"It was a best trip that I had before, everything was fine even rainning. Lunch and dinner was wonderfull and room as well. The Safaris was very curious and interesting much more than watching TV. We got a great support from the staff for everything. I really want go back in the near future with my wife."
"Apart from the travel from Joburg our stay in the park. our guides and the hospitality of the Safari staff was excellent. Will do it agin in the future."
"We enjoyed our short stay in Kruger Park very much. The guides and the accommodation was great. Thanks."
"The staff, food , accommodation & of course the safari was all amazing. Will definitely visit again & this time for a little longer. Thank you guys for making my experience incredible :)"
- Talha Habib
".We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The guides were excellent. We saw most of the animals. Accommodation and dining arrangemts met our needs. Our party was just the right size. Our only concern was the length of the journey (5 hours) to reach Kruger."
"One of ny most magical memories. Late pick-up but then great people, unique accommodation, delicious food, excellent guides and simply wonderful wildlife. If you have 3 days to spare you must do this. I'm planning a repeat safari before I head home."
"It was a great experience though it was hot and humid during later part of the day. We thoroughly enjoyed the safari and next time we will come in winter and for longer duration. Thanks Esleen."
"We had a wonderful Kruger Park experience. It is our first visit and we were most impressed with the efficiency, knowledge and service we got from Outlook Safaris. Our guide was friendly, passionate and took such pride in the expedition - it was really a wonderful experience. We will have no hesitation in recommending this mode of seeing the Kruger Park to our friends and family."
- Mr & Mrs P Shagam
"Most enjoyable 3 day visit which was excellent value. The two day safari drives and one dawn and one evening drive were plenty to see the park and many animals, including many zebra and antelope, close views of giraffes, baboons, elephants, lions and water buffaloes, as well as a rare sighting of a cheetah feeding on a kill. Also saw hippo and a couple rhino. Accommodation in rhondavel was very comfortable, and distinctive, with air-con and mosquito guards on window. Also liked the park-like setting and facilities at the Skukuza Base Camp. Tour Guide was excellent - very attentive and knowledgeable. We were fortunate to be part of a very small group of two couples, so ideal for good photography from tiered seating in a jeep. The meals with guides and other couple in a tent were pleasant, but need to be prepared for the 5-6 hour drives to and from Johannesburg. Happy to recommend to others."
- Joseph Hlubucek
"This is an amazing safari! We saw the big 5 and had a wonderful guide (Debbie). It was well worth the money and it was unforgettable!"
- Argiro (Argie) Salampassis
"Our safari was truly amazing right from the pick-up at the airport. Aderta, the driver, was very friendly, professional and informative. We arrived at the park early and our driver took us through the park for 90 minutes before we even checked in. We saw three of the big five during that drive. On our evening sunset drive we saw all big five within one hour! A feat usually unheard of. We even saw two leopards; one in a tree and one pacing by the road. The evening meals were delicious under the canopy of stars. Jonathan, our guide for the safari, was very professional and knowledgeable. He accomodated all our needs and stopped whenever we desired. Our group was small, only three of us, so it was like our own professional tour for the three days. I would not hesitate to recommend this company again."
- Taylor Maroney
"I can't say enough positive things about our Kruger Safari. My sisters and I have been dreaming of this trip for years. Carien du Plessis organized our trip and made the airport transfers and overnights seamless. She was prompt and professional. Brad, our safari tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable. He put us in touch with the sights and sounds of the park to enhance our experience. We saw animals we never expected to see in their natural environment and left with a new education and memories of a lifetime. Thank you Kruger for your hospitality."
- Alexandra Galante
"Hi there, It was an amazing experience staying in krugerpark . The bungalow we stayed in was beautiful and clean. Also The hut was a big tent, good mattresses, and again a fridge and a braai (bbq) . The shops have everything you need, and restaurants have a beautiful view in every camp! Every evening the cooking staff prepares a lovely meal with lots of wine. I was amazed how good it tasted, and the regular cook was on holiday, compliments to the staff !! In the morning breakfast was served, coffee and tea with muffins. The jeep was comfortable, not full. And lucky us for seeing The big five in The first evening drive. We saw more then we could ask for, so thanks again for this experience! After the 2 days in The park with the tour, we learnt how to respect the animals, where the hotspots were at the time to drive ourselves through Krugerpark.!! Greetings Jesse& Jasba"
"From the moment we were picked up, we experienced a good treatment. The lodge was comfortable for sleeping. Airco was working well. Debbie, our guide was very informative and oh so pleasant. She went out of our way to ensure that we saw the big five ...... and we did. We enjoyed the meals served. I would surely recommend this team to anyone planning to do the big five."
- Irene Sedney
"After my conference in Cape Town my wife and I flew to Johannesburg. We were met at the airport and we were driven to the Safari Club and then the following day on to the Kruger National Park. Everything went according to plan and we were extremely well looked after at all stages of this safari trip. Our free time in Johannesburg was filled with 2 local trips that were most memorable. The drive to the Kruger was enjoyable and the visit itself was fantastic. We had good guides and saw most animals that we hoped to see. Unfortunately lions were not to be seen! The organisation of the trip and the accommodation were first class and our journey back to Johannesburg for the flight home was along the Panorama route which also added to the experience. So our grateful thanks for helping us to enjoy one of the experiences of a lifetime,"
