Experience the best of the Kruger National Park in just 4 days. While you absorb the unspoiled wilderness, your stay in Kruger is maximised by professional guides who lead morning and evening game drives. These drives provide ample opportunity to spot lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and buffalo also known as big five
The tour accommodation is at Pretoriuskop Camp. Allocations are made with these camps, but if all slots have been filled, availability will be checked and booked elsewhere in the park.
Morning Walk - A walk in the Kruger Park affords you the opportunity to experience the bush from a totally different perspective. You really do get up close and personal with Africa's wild animals, insects, trees and birds. Qualified trail guides take you on a 3-hour walk where there is a chance you could encounter some of Africa's Big 5 on foot but the focus is rather on the smaller animals and interesting aspects of the bush that only a bushwalk can offer. This activity is available at an additional ZAR 570.00 per person and needs to be pre-booked with your consultant when you confirm your safari with us. This activity is dependent on availability.
Panorama Route - Our full day Panorama Route tour covers the best sights of this famous South African sightseeing route. We will include the Three Rondavels, Blyde River Canyon, Bourke's Luck Potholes, God's Window and the glass elevator near the town of Graskop. This tour is available at an additional cost of ZAR 795.00 per person and needs to be pre-booked with your consultant when you confirm your safari with us. If you choose to do the Panorama Route, you forfeit your morning and afternoon drive in the Kruger Park as there is not enough time to include both activities. You cannot book a Panorama Route tour whilst on safari. (Kindly note that this excursion is not available on the first or last day of your safari due to time constraints). All entry fees and the glass elevator are included in the price. Lunch is excluded.
Children are welcome however we regret that children under 6 years old are not permitted on open vehicle game drives.
• Important to note is that groups will stay exclusively within the Kruger National Park and its facilities, not leaving the grounds unless necessitated by lack of availability.
• Depending upon availability, it may be necessary to stay in different camps while on safari.
• Guests leaving Johannesburg by plane on day four urged to not book flights departing earlier than
• Depending on flight schedules, guests departing from Nelspruit on the last day may not have time to take the panorama route.
Accommodation: Pretoriuskop Camp
You depart from Johannesburg between 06h30 – 08h30 to allow for various collection points. The drive takes you through the wide open spaces of the Highveld, down the escarpment and through the scenic Lowveld area. You stop for lunch en-route (own expense) and reach the Kruger National Park and camp in the afternoon.
After settling into your accommodation, you go out on your first game drive which is a Sanparks sunset drive. A sunset drive affords you the opportunity to see nocturnal animals that are more active at night and the Park’s rangers are allowed to return after the normal gate closing times. Note that these drives take place in one of the Kruger Park’s vehicles with a Park’s ranger. This is not a private game drive and there may be other guests on this drive.
Dinner is a three-course meal, served al fresco at the private camp. Wine is served with dinner but guests are welcome to bring along additional drinks which can be purchased at the camp shop.
Accommodation: Pretoriuskop Camp
Safaris are all about early mornings, getting out there and seeing animals! After an early wake-up call (the time varies according to the seasons and park gate opening times) you have tea or coffee & rusks (dried biscuits to be dunked in your drink!) We then set off on the morning safari which will take approximately 3-4 hours. Your guide has an intimate knowledge of the park, which contributes a great deal towards brilliant sightings!
On returning to camp, breakfast/brunch will be ready for you to enjoy. You then have time to enjoy a swim, visit the park shop which includes African curios, general food items, and drinks, take a walk around the camp, or simply relax at the viewing platform in front of the restaurant. The camp is also a bird watcher’s paradise! Be sure to bring along your binoculars!
After a siesta, you set off on the afternoon game drive. All game drives are conducted in specially adapted 4x4 open game drive vehicles to allow guests the best possible vantage point.
Later, you share safari stories at the campfire under the stars after a scrumptious dinner served at camp.
There is an optional excursion to visit select attractions along the Panorama Route. Stops in one of the small towns en-route for breakfast is included. The excursion visits natural attractions like the beautiful Blyde River Canyon, the awe-inspiring Three Rondavels, the incredible Lisbon Waterfalls and the magnificent God’s Window. The excursion is complimentary and replaces one of the morning drives on day 2 or day 3.
The sun rises over your final day in the Park and you have one last chance to find the animals that have eluded you thus far. After breakfast, you return to Johannesburg. The drive back takes at least 6 hours and guests are advised to sleep over in Johannesburg on this night.

- William Pritchard
"Excellent service and guide."
"I would recommend this Safari Tour. All logistics worked out according to our expectations, and the Big Five were spotted on the first morning game drive! The accommondation at Skukuza lodge is a very good value for money."
- Ola Sannes

Many Thanks :)))"
"My wife and I spent a couple of wonderful days in the Kruger Park. I can say without any hesitation that the trip exceeded all our expectations. We saw what we came for... and a lot more. Moreover, we met a number of great people during our trip. A trip to remember for a long, long time."
- Andy Wessels
"We had a great time. Only stayed in one cabin that did not have a plug in for my mothers medical device. It was a rough night without it. The other cabin was very nice. I would come back to see the very north end of the park. Thank you for a good time. Please check that all cabins have usable outlets that are working, and they are in every cabin."
- James Anderson
"I enjoyed my 4 day safari to Kruger. We saw the big five, our guides were knowledgeable and our accommodations were excellent. Weather was great except for a brief rainstorm and a 3 minute hail storm. Bring a sweater for early morning and evening."
- Douglas McDonald
"We had a wonderful time. Toby was a great guide, and his knowledge and enthusiasm greatly enriched what was in any case a new and thrilling experience. Jonathan's cooking was greatly enjoyable, and the quantity and quality of the wine in the evenings greatly appreciated. Our evening drive with Sam was a treat and Sam was also most informative. Voisy and H, our drivers there and back to Jo'burgh respectively, were excellent and the scenic return route was beautiful. Many thanks to all for a memorable experience we will always treasure."
- Gillian Webb
"It was great, I loved it and will recommend it to all my friends. We booked with Carien, she made it a wonderful and great experience."
- Keil Andrea
"Absolutely amazing! My wife and I had the time of our lives and will forever remember our trip to Kruger. Many Thanks to Karen our guide who was an absolute gem."
- Rohan Dharmadasa
"We had an absolutely wonderful time in the Krugerpark, it stands out as the highlight of our 3 weeks trip to SA. We feel very humble and lucky because we got to experience such magnificent moments with mother nature and the animals in the Kruger. We will treasure this trip forever, and yes, we will come back:) And to our dear guide Clive; thank you, we could never have asked for a better man to guide us through the park. Thank you!"
- Elisabeth Bjorklund Moller
"My daughter and I had a 4day 3 night Safari and we had an amazing time. Our Guide Heilke was very knowledgable and did everything possible to make our stay memorable. Johnathon, the guy who did the cooking served up great breakfasts and dinners and we saw 4 of the "big 5", as well as a host of other wildlife too many to mention. We were very unfortunate not to see leopard as we kept coming across people in trucks who had just seen one . Still, thats the way it goes!! Altogether a wonderful experience and I would have no hesitation in recommending this Safari to anyone."
- Denise Gilbert and Vicky Gilbert
"We really loved and enjoyed our safari. It was so easy and relaxing. Our guide Willhelm was great. The meals outstanding. We'd recommend to all friends and family."
- Martha McIntire
"A very good value visit to Kruger. Accommodation in SAN camp chalets - we had 2 linked chalets, one was fine the other had some minor problems eg shower pressure but all was clean and well equipped. Outlook Safari staff looked after us well. Its not 5 star catering but pretty good and varied for all tastes and provided by knowledgeable safari guides too!"
- Mary Alveyn
"We had limited time to research/plan our first South African Adventure so we put all our faith in KRUGERPARK.COM. Overall it was a thoroughly rewarding experience and value for money. After three years living in Jakarta we had forgotten what open space and stars looked like and had lost the ability to properly relax. A few Carling Black Label beers and a few glasses of SSB on the Skukuza Camp verandah overlooking Hippos, Crocs and buffalo wallowing in the river was a good place to remember life is not all about work. We used a transit hotel (which was fine) in Johannesburg but picked up other guests at the Company Lodge that we didn't know about. We would have stayed at the Lodge had we known that it was associated with the tour company as other guests who joined our safari stayed there. That was the only negative factor of the entire trip. The rest was all good, from the hotel pick up, the transfer to Kruger, the safaris where we were lucky enough to see the BIG 5 and much more, Jonathan did a great job with the food and the wine flowed with dinner, we didn't really need to buy anything else (breakfast and dinner was more than enough) but if we did the prices were low. The accommodation was basic but what we expected and added to the experience, the animals were not huge in numbers but we saw enough to make all of it a memorable experience. We were blessed with outstanding company in the form of the other safari travellers in our small safari groups - everyone was happy and interesting and all joined in to make the safari that much better. The last day was long but the Panorama route back to Johannesburg taking in the magnificent canyon and waterfalls and the opportunity to buy some 'curios' (souvenirs) from local villagers was a good way to finish. Bennet drove us both ways and did a great job, a very humble and polite individual, Sally Ann I think was her name (we shared her first day contracted with Outlook Safaris) and William were enthusiastic guides. I wish you the best of luck in stopping the poachers, the SA Government needs to do far more to stop this outrageous activity, as do the Governments of countries that buy the animal products. Future generations will not get to experience what we did if stronger action isn't taken. We have recommended this safari to all our friends in Jakarta and we will be back!"
- Bruce & Lisa
"I had a wonderful time! I saw the Big five... and so much more! They answer kindly to all my questions before the booking (and I had a lot of questions!) Fantastic experience! Thank you for everything!"
- Julie Beauchemin
"What an amazing place, the best holiday I have ever been on.We saw the big 5, three times over plus much more. Our guides from Outlook safaris, Bradley & Debbie, were amazing and a fountain of knowledge and both really strived to ensure the maximum enjoyment for the guests. You South Africans are very very lucky, your country is amazing and the Kruger Park is a very special place, we will definitely be back next year!"
- Kerry Sunter
"Wonderful time spent inside the park, thanks to our tour guide Deborah (we had a private vehicle with her) who was exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly, yet very professional and we had a great time with our three kids with 8, 6 and 3 years of age.Thank you.Giada"
- giada maramaldi
"The service we received was awesome. Debbie, our tour guide was very helpful and knowledgeable. Def will highly recommend this service to anyone considering going to Kruger!"
- Suyin Soon
"Fantastic - from Mos spotting rhinos as soon as we got into the Kruger park to Bradley's endless information during the game drives to Kara's (sp?) great work in the kitchen, and Willy on the drive back to Jo'burg. Definitely thrilled I went!"
- Andy Fenoy

"I tried 2 times to book with other companies this tour.Viator says it's not available , the other one adviced to hire a car and drive to Kruger Park by ourselves;Finaly I succeed to book it through Krugerpark directly. It was perfect . A driver picked us up from the hotel in Johannesburg and drove us to the Park . On the road we stopped many times ,even in the Park to take pictures of the animals. Second and third day was full of Safaris in the bushes. We've seen all the Big 5 and lots more. Bradley , our guide is very good in his job. He gave us lot of information he found the best ways to dscover the animals. He is very pacient and has lot of understanding with the clients. What I appreciated most was that just this company offered to their clients to be used during the safaris, some wonderfull jackets . They are waterproof and they protect from the cold morning wind so that we were able to take pictures very confortable. Great job !! We passed by other cars and saw the turists sitting in the car , doing nothing and being not interested on the animals, just trying to protect themselves from the wind , being very unconfortable .The fourth day we returned to Johannesburg via the panoramic route . It was a wonderfull drive !The accomodation in the chalets has its own taste ; we enjoyed it .We are wery happy to have had done this tour and thank a lot to the touroperator and to everybody involved in its organization . I warmly recommend Krugerpark.com to anybody wants to have the real touch of the bush ."
- Lucy Glaser
"I spent a wonderful time in Kruger with Outlook Safaris. The transfer from Joburg to Skukuza was without any complications. The programme for the days was perfect to enjoy. The guide was very well-informed about everything and could answer any questions I had. I liked the game drives as they were very personal and we could build up friendships with others in the vehicle. The food was delicious. In general the staff was very helpful, kind and good at their jobs. The money was totally worth the trip and I would always recommend travelling with Outlook Safaris and booking with krugerpark.com. For me it was not the last time to do this trip. I will repeat it someday!"
- Katrin Bochannek
"My sister and I had a fabulous trip. Our driver, Willy, was informative and friendly. The cook, Senzi, made wonderful food. We had nice restaurant-quality food every meal and always had vegetarian-friendly food ready without any reminders. The guide, Jarryd, made the trip really fun while clearly doing his best to make sure we saw every animal/bird. We could not have had a better experience."
- Sara Vakulskas
"Four day safari starting with pickup from JHB, staying at Skukuza.Accommodation at Skukuza basic but with all the essentials, bar electric kettle &/or microwave. Fantastic view of Sabie river and hippos from the camp lookout. Be prepared for early AM starts - well worth it though. Game, bird and nature viewing fantastic. Our guide very knowledgeable about all sorts of aspects of the bush. Went out of his way to help us 'catch' all the animals (on camera).Excellent dinners with traditional SA fare. Good African bush tales. Wish we'd arranged at least a five day safari - would be even better!"
"Just a little more info on what to expect would be good. The ride to and from Kruger is very cramped when you stuff 9 full size adults and luggage into a medium size van with limited luggage storage area. Beyond that we had a wonderful time and these are not complaints rather opportunities for improvement. Our guides Toby (day 1) and Carol Ann (day 2) were great and I would recommend them to anyone. It was pretty obvious that some guides are a little better at their jobs than others. We appreciated that we were not part of the Ferrari Safari crowd."
- Caroline Fay Higgins
"We really appreciated the organisation of everything, with being picked up and taken back, the drives in the park with Bradley who was very accommodating. Moss was excellent and very polite and helpful, as were the other tour guides. Our tour was terrific and we would consider going on another one. Thank you for organising this."
- Kirsten Tannenbaum
"The staff at the site made this a very enjoyable safari for our family of four. My son was unwell and they swiftly organised a consult with the medical staff at Skukuza. The breakfast and dinner camp meals were very good and made more enjoyable with the interaction with the other visitors. The accommodation at the"chalet" while basic is sufficient as the tour made sure we spent as much time as possible seeing the extraordinary wildlife with 7 hours of game drives per day.We were fortunate to see a huge amount of wildlife. We also benefited from the guides exchanging information about sightings while on the game drive.Having someone pick us and drop us off at Joburg is also a big plus. The scenic drive with visits to Gods Window etc on the way back was also very enjoyable."
- Sanjoy D'Souza
"The experience at the Kruger Park was fantastic. We decide to spend the New Year in the park and still think that was a great decision. Something completely new, with a fantastic guide, Deborah, who made of our stay an unforgettable one, despite the long drive from / to Johannesburg. The camp in Skukuza was OK, mainly the shop that gives you the chance to get whatever you need from food to clothes and drinks. Restaurant was OK, rooms clean. Maybe the only black dot was the food offered as part of the tour. Breakfast was OK but dinner below expectations, fortunately we had the chance to get something either at the restaurant or the shop. In summary a great experience that we will for sure repeat in the future."
- Abelardo Chacon
"Highly recommend going to the Kruger Park, was absolutely amazing, and we can't wait till we can go back. Strongly recommend a four day Safari with Outlook Safaris, they were amazing hosts and tour guides. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and went out of his way to ensure we got the most from our Safari. Travelling in the Safari Vehicles was also a great experience, and the animals amazing :) Do this Safari, you will love it."
- Kate Falconer
"at first I was a bit disillusioned seeing so many animals so close to tracks...a bit like a safari park and then I realised that the animals consider the tracks as theirs and we were on their territory and not human roads. What a privilege...if you can do it DO IT!! Not life changing but certainly life enhancing .The guides were knowledgeable and good company.Say hello for me and hope they got the books. Roger."
- Roger Malcolm Lee
"This was a well organized trip overall. While the drive from Johannesburg was longer than expected it was all on time. Food at the camp was excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. The tour guide, whose name I have forgotten was wonderful, was a great source of knowledge and his enthusiasm for the bush was evident and it made the trips so much more enjoyable than the official Park guides. Would recommend to those not wanting to drive alone or spend a fortune at a private reserve."
- Patricia Hanbury
"Kruger park is fascinating and the staff and guides are hospitable, knowledgeable and very professional. My special thanks to our guide Mr. Bretton Lahner who made this an unforgettable adventure. The accommodations were most comfortable , the food was great, and I can not wait to go back ."
- Mehrnaz Ayazi
"We really had no idea what it would be like. Had just been told that we needed to go to Kruger. Every person on the safari was gracious, fun, and full of knowledge. Sitting around the campfire getting to know others from around the globe was amazing. The food was so very good. The parkas and hot water bottle allowed us to take our minds off of the wind chill factor and enjoy searching for the animals. Personal service was terrific. The down time worked well for naps and to finish our last stop of shopping before heading home. A huge thank you to all for making it a trip of a lifetime. Was so impressed that in the registration process. I always had a response by the next morning."
- Dana Mitchell
