Revel in six days of safari in two phenomenal big five game reserves and experience understated luxury accommodations.
Your journey begins in the Timbavati Game Reserve which continues to rank as one of the Top 5 reserves in Africa. It is most famous for its dense lion population and is the only place where guests can view white lions in their natural habitat.
Kings Camp will be your home for the first three days, exposing you to true luxury, gourmet cuisine, and open vehicle game drives within the 24 710 acre Timbavati Game reserve which teems with wildlife, including the famous Big 5.
The Outpost lies in the vast and remote wilderness area known as Makuleke Contractual Park in the Greater Kruger National Park. This 65 483 acre reserve only has three concessionaries, ensuring a truly exclusive safari experience. For the bird lover, there are over 350 species of bird that have been identified in the park. The Outpost is sure to impress with its contemporary luxury suites and award-winning bathrooms that overlook the bush.
Focused around safari, this tour is ideal for explorers both young and old.

"All you possibly can ask for. Way above any expectations. Fantastic staff, wounderful environment, supergood food, everything was clean and luxiourius. I want to move to Kings Camp forever. BIG FIVE - HIGH FIVE"
"This review is long overdue, probably because it's hard to put our magical wedding weekend into words. We got married in a lime green fevered cathedral to the chimes of gorgeous bush shrikes and screeches of hornbills, and where we were showered with a continuous confetti of butterflies! As a bird- and bush-loving architect, The Outpost comes close to my idea of perfection. Aaron, in your quiet way you made sure everything was as smooth and relaxed as possible. Nothing was too much trouble - you even fixed my sister's sump without drama (or expense!). Beatrice, you went the extra mile by doing beautiful table decorations and by baking that gorgeous chocolate cake that people are still talking about! It's clear to us that your direction, attention to detail and natural flair for food are evident in what comes out of the kitchen. Cara, Alweet and Sarah, you took us to all the best spots and impressed us all with your knowledge. To all the wonderful staff (Winnie, Langu, etcetera), you blessed us with your love and warmth Thank you - we look forward to returning in the not too distant future!"
"King's Camp is the experience of a lifetime. From the extensive two a day game drives, to the very good meals, to the friendly and genuine staff, to the superb maid service, to the pristine surroundings it's all you can hope for and more. My wife and I were able to see the Big Five and more through the perseverance of the rangers and trackers. My special mention goes to Martin and Albert, and Cynet and Sam. These guys went above and beyond and were a wealth of information for not just the animals but plant life and birds as well. A special mention has to go to Manager Warren who runs a five start operation but comes across as your friend just wanting to help you have the best time possible. If you want to see animals in the wild and at the same time get some context of their lives and their surroundings this is the place. I wholeheartedly and unreservedly recommend King's Camp to everyone. You will meet some memorable people, have some experiences of a lifetime and always, always wish you could go back. If this sounds like a gushing review, it's meant to."
