Itinerary

Day 1 - 2: Arrive Sossusvlei

Accommodation: Kulala Desert Lodge

Today you check in to Windhoek Airport for your scheduled flight to Kulala, where you will be met and transferred to the lodge for check-in.

The focus for your visit to Sossusvlei is to explore the sand dunes and capture incredible photos. Two focal points in the Sossusvlei include a desert claypan with dead trees known as Deadvlei, and Dune 45 which is the most climbed sand dune, perfect for watching the sunrise in the morning.

During your stay at Kulala, be sure to sleep out under the stars on the flat rooftop of your room.

Day 3 - 4: Damaraland

Accommodation: Desert Rhino Camp

After a sumptuous breakfast, you will gather your belongings and bid farewell to the Sossusvlei as you fly to Desert Rhino Camp. Your scenic flight will take you to Swakopmund and Dora Nawas before arriving in Damaraland. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your camp for check-in.

Damaraland is a breathtaking mountainous region and one of the most scenic in Namibia. It is home to endangered wildlife, including desert elephant and black rhino. Other wildlife seen here include gemsbok (oryx), kudu, springbok, and occasionally lion and cheetah. The birdlife is amazing with a chance of seeing the endemic Monteiros’ hornbill, Ruppell’s parrot, white-tailed shrike, rock runner, and Herero chat.

Day 5 - 7: Ongava Game Reserve

Accommodation: Ongava Tented Camp

After exploring the gorgeous Damaraland and tracking black rhino, it is time to say goodbye and fly to Ongava Game Reserve via Dora Nawas. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your camp for check-in.

The Ongava Game Reserve which was once once farmland, is now one of the best wildlife conservation regions in Namibia. 30 000-hectares in size, the conservancy is one of the best private reserves in Namibia, sharing a boundary with the renowned Etosha National Park. Animals to look out for during your safari activities include elephant, giraffe, gemsbok, springbok, red hartebeest, eland, wildebeest, zebra, the rare black-faced Impala, lion, leopard, and cheetah.

Day 8: Departure

After a heart warming breakfast, you will gather your belongings and check in for your scheduled flight to Windhoek.

On arrival in Windhoek, you will connect with your onward travel arrangements.
