Your morning game drive departs the Lodge at 7 am. Grab a breakfast box on your way out the door and enjoy fresh coffee and delicious croissants while searching for your first of the Big Five. Return to the Lodge at lunchtime and enjoy an à la carte lunch outdoors at Maji Bar and Terrace, with its endless views of the Serengeti, while dining on a choice of fresh salads, creative sandwiches and delicious pasta dishes. At 4 pm, depart for an evening game drive to continue your search for the Big Five. Our safari guides will do their best to show you the amazing wildlife up close and personal. Return to the Lodge to sip cocktails at the Sundowner Bar followed by dinner where the chefs will serve up some tasty Swahili cuisine featuring specialties from the coast. And after dinner, you can attend the evening’s lecture by the Discovery Centre team before retiring to your room.

Wake up with the sun and enjoy a delicious breakfast from the enticing buffet, perhaps deciding on coconut pancakes with vanilla syrup to stock up on energy to prepare you for your morning game drive. Return to the Lodge for lunch and spend the afternoon relaxing in the infinity pool as you enjoy the elephants playing in the watering hole just beyond. Consider a spa treatment prior to dinner, followed by a sundowner as you watch the sun create magic in the sky. This underwater room will take your breath away, it is a floating structure, Swedish engineered, which provides three levels. The landing deck, at sea level, has a lounge area and bathroom facility. A ladder leads up to the roof which has a relaxation area – for sun worshipping by day and stargazing by night. Then downstairs – the magical feeling of lying on a soft double bed surrounded by panes of glass affording a 360 degree view of shoals of reef fish and exquisite marine creatures, resident visitors include three batfish and a trumpet fish called Nick, who seems to always be peering in! Octopus and even Spanish dancers have been seen attaching themselves to the glass panes. The reef inhabitants cannot resist stopping by, which makes for an unbelievable and truly unique experience!
