Damaraland Camp is located within the private Torra Conservancy and looks south over the Huab River Valley towards the Burnt Mountain, where fossilized organic material has been baked by upthrusting magma.
Damaraland Camp boasts ten elevated Tented rooms that feature twin beds that can be converted into a double, an en-suite bathroom with double vanities and a shower, walk-in dressing area, lounge, tea & coffee making facilities, mosquito netting, overhead fan, and a private deck.
One of the tents is ideal for families as it has two adjacent rooms that are linked by a walkway with a door. The family unit can sleep

This region is one of the driest, most desolate regions in all of Africa. The scrub landscape cannot support vast, concentrated herds of wildlife, but it nevertheless boasts a varied and breathtaking assortment of desert-adapted species around Damaraland Camp. The Torra Conservancy supports healthy populations of rare desert-adapted elephant, some black rhino, gemsbok (oryx), kudu, springbok, Hartman's mountain zebra, southern giraffe, gemsbok, lion, cheetah, and spotted and brown hyaena also live in the area. Bird watching is fantastic in this region with over 240 species recorded.
