"Spent one night at KRC, and wish we had been able to stay longer! From the moment we arrived, the charm of grounds, and the graciousness of our hosts made us feel warmly welcome. Our chalet was super cute and very clean. Dinner was tasty, and extremely reasonable. Everything about it was lovely, lovely, lovely. If I ever find myself in South Africa again, I will make it a point to stop here for a longer visit!"

"I have visited the Komatie river chalets on 2 occasions over the last few years, A lovely venue in a wonderful setting. The proprietors cannot do enough for you, Chalets are clean ,comfortable. all in all a great place to rest your weary bones, by the way, take advantage of the opportunity to go Tiger fishing, this was arranged by the chalets for us. Recommend to anyone, 5 star."

"Wonderful host and very clean bungalows. All the basics are there to make a BBQ and towels were provided. We enjoyed our stay there, its ideal for a stop over and about 10 km from Crocodile Bridge Gate - Kruger Park and 4km from the Mozambique border."

"Positioned perfectly for Kruger park visits. Friendly family run in a great location. The Air conditioned Chalets are well appointed and clean with a fully functional kitchenette. Staff bent over backwards to help us with an early check in. Grounds are well maintained and patrolled. Recommended!"

"Property is very well looked after, grass is cut, volleyball court begs to be played on, everything neat and tidy. We stayed in a 2 bedroom lodge: there was (much needed) aircon in every room and a good sized flatscreen TV in the living area. Rooms get serviced every day as an added bonus. Will stay again!"

"We stayed here the night before our first adventure into Kruger National Park. The hosts were so friendly and informative. They told us the best routes to take and they were right on! We actually saw the Big 5 on our first trip. The grounds at Komati RC are spectacular (my wife took tons of pictures) and more than we expected. The rooms were very nice and it was a great experience. Highly Recommend."

"Easy and quick access to crocodile bridge entrance of Kruger. If you want to stay near the park, but not in the park, this is your place. Staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. Only downside is no wifi... That is a common problem in this part of the world, however."

"My wife and I recently stayed at Komati River Chalets for 3 nights as our base to explore the magnificent Kruger National Park. The self contained accommodation was superb value, clean, spacious and comfortable. It is a great location overlooking the Komati river and provides a great base to explore Kruger, Mozambique and Swaziland. Hosts Duncan, Roz and their daughter Jen went out their way to make our stay an enjoyable one."
