Sabi Sabi Game Reserve is a place steeped in safari history - established in the late seventies, this reserve and its constituent lodges boast extensive collections of adventure decor and heirlooms, a visceral bushveld treat for lovers of the tactile and ambient.
Set within the world renowned Sabi wildtuin, a constituent of the greater Sabi Sands Game Reserve, Sabi Sabi is home to an extensive and varied landscape of hardy local fauna and flora. This reserve is big game country, with regular sightings of the popular Big Five (lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo, and elephant), as well as around 200 other indigenous wildlife species. Cheetah, giraffe, wild dog, and a host of other colourful inhabitants are complimented by tree top slashes of colour in the form an incredible 350 species of bird. It is sights such as these that keep guests returning for both morning and evening game drives (safe in the hands of professional safari guides) again and again.
