The family-friendly Kulala Desert Lodge is located within the arid Namib Desert on the 27 000
The lodge boasts twenty-three thatched and canvas Kulalas, eighteen of which are twin bedded and three are doubles. Each unit has an en-suite bathroom with shower, mosquito netting, overhead fan, and a deck on the flat rooftop for sleep-outs under the stars.
Two of the Kulalas are ideal for families with two separate bedrooms, en-suite bathrooms, separate entrances, and a connecting deck.
The lodge facilities include a lounge, bar, dining area, plunge pool, and wrap-around veranda overlooking the riverbed.
The 37 000-hectare private Kulala Nature Reserve boasts an array of wildlife including gemsbok (oryx), springbok, ostrich, spotted hyena, brown hyena and an abundance of birdlife. Smaller creatures such as bat-eared fox, black-backed jackal, porcupine, Cape fox
