Kwando Lebala Camp is nestled in the southern region of the private Kwando concession in northern Botswana. This concession is adjacent to the water source that feeds the Linyanti marshland which forms the boundary between Botswana and Namibia. The Kwando River flows in a southerly direction, disappearing into the vast marshland and then reveals itself as the Linyanti River.
Lebala translates to "wide open spaces" and prides itself on offering guests a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Many guests have labeled Lebala as a "home away from home".
As Lebala is in a private concession there are many opportunities to drive off-road in search of wildlife – following endangered African wild dogs on their hunts is an often occurrence. Fascinating mammals are mainly active at night, giving the guest more opportunities to view them. Depending on the season, it is also possible to do guided walks in the area.

One of the tents is a Family Tent, which comprises of two bedrooms and one shared bathroom. This is ideal for families with young children.
The camp facilities include a lounge area with library, bar, dining area and fireplace, small swimming pool, and curio shop.
The camp offers dawn and dusk game drives that are conducted in open safari vehicles and led by professional guides and trackers. For the more adventurous traveler, guided walking safaris afford up-close encounters with the fauna, flora and smaller wondrous creatures of the African bush. Walks may be limited in the dry season due to the large elephant population in the region.
The Kwando Concession is home to a wide variety of Africa’s plains game such as zebra, wildebeest, impala, giraffe, tsessebe, lechwe, waterbuck and the shy sitatunga. Lebala is also known for frequent sightings of wild dog, which have denned near to the camp in recent years.
Kwando Lebala Camp is ideal for solo explorers, couples
Flights, transfers, additional excursions, gratuities, items of a personal nature, and park fees.
Children aged 6 years and older are welcome at the camp.
Children younger than 6 years are welcome at the lodge if the camp is booked out exclusively.
Families are required to take a private vehicle to accommodate children under 12 years.
