"This was the perfect place to stay for our family of 5. Economical and practical, Very comfortable. Each chalet has a braai/BBQ, full kitchen facilities and indoor / outdoor settings. The pool area, restaurant and bar are close by and provide relaxing relief from the heat, kiddies playground was also helpful. A dinner and show at The Boma is a must and also the vulture feeding at the Safari Club next door at 1 pm each day."

"We stayed in Lokuthula Lodges as my niece was getting married in Victoria Falls. It worked out to be an excellent base as the courtesy bus made it very easy for us to get to the pre-wedding activities in Vic Falls. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed seeing the wildlife so close up. Make sure you go to The Boma dinner and watch the vultures at 1pm at the Safari Lodge"

"Family of 6 stayed comfortably in lodge 8 which over looked a small waterhole. We had regular visits from warthogs, bush buck and impala eating grass right outside our verandah. Two great restaurants within walking distance. The staff were excellent and the shuttle was so convenient to get to the sights. Highly recommended!!"

"Stayed as a group of 10 persons sharing 2x Lodges during early July 2015. Fantastic accommodation in the heart of the Zimbabwean bush. Lodges all perfectly placed to afford great privacy. Rooms extremely clean and tastefully made up with ample space and amenities. Lovely to have the animals all round e.g. bushbuck, warthogs, squirrels, guinea fowl and many other species of birds. Easy access to the Safari Lodge, and views of its waterhole and its many visitors! Staff most pleasant and helpful. Can most certainly recommend Lokuthula to all who want a comfortable bush experience."

"We arrived at Lokuthula on the 3rd of June 2015. From arrival till date of departure I was absolutely blown away. Daniel the manager runs a fabulous World class resort. I could not fault the accommodation it was simply amazing. The lodges are super comfortable and the locals are such beautiful friendly accommodating people. The finishings in the lodges are superb. The food at the restaurant was excellent and they allowed us to take muffins and fruit for snacks during the day. Dinner at The Boma was a truly out of this world experience, absolutely the best dine out I have ever been privileged to be part of. I can only say a massive thank you to all involved for such a wonderful time and I would highly recommend this to anyone. To Daniel and all of the team I say a massive thank you for the priviledge of staying with you in Victoria falls. We will return and hope to meet you all again"

"Lokathula lodges are self-catering small lodges but they are beautiful and astonishing. The lodges "blend in" in Africa. All the staff are very friendly and will help with anything. The staff will never say no. I ordered a milkshake but there was no milk. Instead of saying no the staff member offers me a different drink or said I could wait as the CHEF had left to go and get more milk!!! I recommend this to anyone as it is cheap but value for money and a great time!"

"We spent 4 nights there at the beginning of February in lodge number ten and would give the whole area the same number, ten out of ten. Nice to wake up and see the mobile grass cutters (warthogs) at work and plenty of impala going about their business, whilst the guinea fowl were good value for money! Staff very helpful and knowledgeable about the local trips, whilst the Boma gives you the kind of evening you will not experience anywhere else. The free bus service to the town is an invalueable service. Give it a visit one day"

"My husband and I went to Zimbabwe for our honeymoon and stayed at the Lokuthula Lodges. What a wonderful experience! The people are very friendly and helpful. You are greeted every morning with a friendly "morning, how are you." Our first day at the hotel restaurant, we were given a complimentary starter and also had a nice chat to the Barman about Zimbabwe's history and he gave us a Zimbabwean dollar as a souvenior. They also have another restaurant- "The Boma"- what an experience. A must, if you go there! They hotel has hourly buses leaving from the hotel to the town, which is very helpful. The first morning we were surprised by warthogs and initially I was scared but you soon realise that they wont harm you. So every morning, you are "greeted" by friendly animals. The domestic is one of the best I have ever seen, he literally gets in the bath every day and scrubs it! I've never seen anyone clean better!! One evening we sat for 3+ hours with one of the staff from the Boma and we spoke about Zimbabwe, South Africa and life! It was a real eye opener to the life in Zimbabwe and changed my perception of the country. If you cant decide on a holiday destination - pick Zimbabwe and Lokuthula Lodges!"

"Had the privilege of staying at this magnificent place on my visit from the UK. We were initially booked there for just one night but eventually stayed for three. The accommodation was impeccable, the service first class, and the atmosphere was peaceful and heavenly. And to top it all, the lodges are extremely affordable. I found them to be very practical and well equipped. Our accommodation was clean and reasonably comfortable. And the staff were all courteous and affable. Around the lodges 'wild' animals are actually tame. Never in my lifetime would I have imagined myself having breakfast right next to warthog, guinea fowl and bushbuck. #lovetheatmosphere We had our meals at the Boma, I was totally impressed with the great selection of food available. I cannot fault Lokuthula Lodges, true value for money and worth every single dollar. I certainly recommend this place, and will undoubtedly be returning there in the very near future."

"We stayed in one of the self-catering lodges, which was very large and well-equipped, and comfortably slept 6 people. The rooms are beautifully decorated, and there is a large kitchen with everything you need for cooking . The grounds are large and have many animals wandering in and out including warthogs, gazelles and even a shy leopard on more rare occasions. The restaurant in the main lodge served very good food, and had a spectacular night view of a watering hole where we saw buffalo, elephants, gazelles and giraffes coming for a drink. We have stayed here on two occasions, and will definitely stay there again in the future."
