"A brilliant experience - the accommodation, the food, the service and of course the amazing wildlife. The staff were incredibly friendly and fantastically knowledgeable; nothing was too much trouble. We felt in very safe and capable hands from beginning to end. A different world, and such a treat."
"My son, grandson and I enjoyed a once in a lifetime experience at Ngala Safari Lodge. Seeing the Big Five African mammals was the least of it! The close approach to large animals was unbelievable. Our ranger, Dyke, has incredible knowledge about all relevant aspects of natural history: mammals, birds, insects, botany, meteorology and astronomy etc. In addition to the two three hour safari drives a day there were guided walks and ample opportunities to observe and photograph wildlife by a waterhole. The food and accommodations were excellent!"
"Fantastic accommodation, food, service and the actual drives were absolutely magical. We never imagined that we would see so many different animals and get so close. What a privilege!! Our ranger Erick and tracker Guyani were amazing we had such fun. On one day we saw a pride of 13 lions with a buffalo kill, a huge pack of dogs with a kill, did a bush walk and encountered a herd of elephants and a hippo having a little wander. On the evening drive we then saw three leopards with a kill, and saw a pride of five lions stalk a zebra and heard them kill it, then the hyenas arrived !! We will return even though we know we will never repeat such an experience, we were very lucky. The sounds and sights on those early morning and evening drives were amazing. We haven't stopped talking about it since we returned."
"It could not have been any more wonderful! The level of service was unparalleled. The food was incredible. The best part of our experience here was our guide Dyke. He made the trip! He has been a guide for over twenty years and it showed. He was phenomenal. He knew the bush better than anyone ever could. We loved our experience with Dyke and were sad to see it end. The watering hole at the hotel is also a special feature with elephants, buffalo, rhino, and warthog visiting the lodge. We would recommend Ngala to anyone!"
"The safari at Ngala was absolutely amazing - words can't capture how pleased we were with the experience. The accommodations were luxurious - certainly not what one would expect in the middle of the bush. Our guide was so knowledgeable that he made the experience enjoyable, educational and memorable, and we got to see all of the big five. The staff was so courteous and literally catered to our every whim, and let's not even talk about the copious amounts of delicious food."
"Ngala was my first safari lodge experience (I have gone to several others since) and it still holds up as one of my best experiences. The staff were friendly and helpful, the facilities very well maintained, and security was attentive (needed to walk between buildings at night). Strongly suggest taking every possible rover trip during your time, and if you can, the walking tour is interesting to get acquainted to some of the details one often misses when looking for bigger game (termite mounds, spiders, etc)."

"As this was our first safari, we did not know what to expect. This park, the staff, and the reserve absolutely knocked our socks off!! We could not have asked for better guides and trackers and all-around service. We saw the Big 5 - sometimes all 5 in one day! It was amazing and I would recommend this lodge to anyone in a heartbeat. They take care of the land, they care about the animals, and they anticipate your every need and want. GO!"

"From reception to departure, this is a fantastic experience. The chalets are excellent and the food is truely amazing. Add to this wonderful staff who enjoy providing good service and you have the ingredients for a great holiday. However it is the actual time spent on safari that is breath taking! The guides and trackers are excellent, the vehicles comfortable and well equipped with binos and blankets for early mornings. The evening drink which magically appears at sunset is a nice touch as you watch the sun set over Africa. There are lots of animals and the staff know where to find them without spending hours driving around. Thoroughly recommended!"
"OMG! One of the most amazing places I have ever stayed. From upon arrival we were treated as family and not just guests, all the food was extremely delicious. The staff are fantastic making you feel like you're at home. The lodge itself is worth every $$$ wild animals on the front lawn eating, elephants drinking from the water hole and the game drives were absolutely amazing lasting up to 2 hours and seeing all the big 5 was mind blowing, loved it. Need to go back ASAP."
