Saruni Samburu offers guests eco-chic luxury accommodation and a unique safari experience that is led by passionate Samburu warriors who have a phenomenal understanding of the land. Saruni Samburu runs on solar power, which provides electricity all day however a generator is on standby for backup.
With only six Luxury Villas, Saruni Samburu promises to offer guests an intimate safari experience. Each villa is spacious and open-plan, featuring double or twin beds, en-suite bathrooms and dressing rooms, living area, dining area and outdoor veranda offering unrivaled views of the plains below the lodge.
Of the six villas, there are four Family Villas, each with two bedrooms, two separate en-suite bathrooms, individual dressing rooms, a large shared lounge and dining area, and various verandas. Two of the villas have a single entrance and the other two have individual entrances which can also be closed to form one single entrance.
The main lodge facilities include a restaurant, dining area, lounge area, two large infinity swimming pools, a gift shop, and viewing deck.
The area around Saruni Samburu is home to abundant wildlife, from large herds of elephant that love to come for a drink at the waterhole to leopard living in the nearby outcrops. The area is also famous for it's endangered African wild dog sightings that hang around the plains below the lodge. Samburu is known for its rare endemic species, often referred to as the ‘Samburu Five’: Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, Somali ostrich

A maximum of three children under 16 years sharing in a family villa with two adults will each be charged at 50% of the adult rate.
One or two children under 16 years sharing a room with one adult will each be charged at 50% of adult rate.
Two children in their own room (not a family suite) will each be charged at 75% of the adult sharing rate.
All children are the responsibility of their parents. Child-carers or ayahs can be organized upon request at an additional cost.
