Seba Camp is situated in the diverse Abu Concession of the world-renowned Okavango Delta and overlooks a permanent lagoon that attracts an abundance of wildlife, particularly birdlife and a few pods of hippo that have made it their own. The Abu Concession covers 173 000 hectares of pristine wilderness and is most famous for its spectacular elephant sightings.
The camp boasts six well-appointed elevated Tents, each with twin beds that can be moved together to form a double, an en-suite bathroom, writing desk, sitting area, overhead fan, in-room safe, tea and coffee making facilities, and a private deck with magnificent vistas.
Seba Camp also has two Family Tents. One has an open lounge on the upper deck while the other has a loft room suitable for older children or adults. Each unit has its own plunge pool, toys/game selection for children and two en-suite bathrooms.
The four-sleeper family unit consists of two bedrooms, with their own bathroom and entrance, separated by a boardwalk and sharing a deck. The main bedroom has a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom with indoor shower. The second bedroom has two three-quarter beds and an en-suite bathroom with a bath/shower combination (no separate shower).
The six-sleeper unit is the same with the addition of a third room upstairs with two three-quarter beds, which shares the bathroom downstairs.
The camp facilities include a dining area, bar, library and swimming pool.
Seba Camp is a year-round multi-activity camp with the emphasis on land activities in the summer months and on water activities in times of high flood during the winter months. Game viewing is exceptional with seasonal hyaena dens, leopard and an opportunity to see roan. The Abu Concession boasts large herds of buffalo, elephant, zebra, and blue wildebeest. There are also numerous hippo pods and red Lechwes are often seen. Abu is great for birders with over 380 bird species recorded in the concession.
Activities offered at the camp include open vehicle game drives, night drives which yield sightings of nocturnal species not seen during the day, unique mokoro (traditional dugout canoe) excursions, boating safaris, catch and release fishing, bird watching, and nature walks that discover the fauna, flora and smaller wondrous creatures of the African bush.
Children are entertained with activities that are led by dedicated staff who encourage children to learn about wildlife and nature. These activities include basic photography and catch-and-release fishing for older children, while younger guests can paint with natural bush powder-paints or make their very own scrapbook.
Seba Camp is ideal for solo explorers, couples
