Tsendze Rustic Camp derives its name from the Tsonga word ‘tsendzeleka’ which means ‘to ramble around as someone lost in the bush’. For the camper who feels that an authentic camping experience relies on a no-nonsense approach. The camp only lies seven kilometers from the Mopani Rest Camp.
Tsendze Rustic Rest Camp offers tent or caravan sites only, WITHOUT ELECTRICITY. Sites make use of communal ablutions and communal kitchens(electric hotplates and washing up facilities). Maximum of 6 people per site. Provide your own tent and camping equipment, caravan or motor home.
Each site is equipped with its own braai stand and rubbish bin, and one 'fresh water' tap is shared per three sites. Specific areas in the camp may be reserved upon booking, depending on availability.
Tsendze rustic campsite is managed from Mopani Camp, thus having no reception area. Guests are required to report to Mopani camp at least one hour prior to the closing of the gate for check-in, then enter Tsendze Rustic Rest Camp.
All activities from Mopani Rest Camp. Guests are picked up from Tsendze main gate. Guided game walks or game drives can be pre-arranged with Mopani camp, subject to availability. Important to note: children under the age of six years old are not permitted on the safari game vehicle and children under the age of twelve years old are restricted from guided bushwalks.

Safari booked. SA here I come.
I have never been to SA before, so naturally I was a bit apprehensive about booking a safari on my own. I turned to safari.com for help and I'm so glad I did. Keith was so helpful, patient and saved me money! That's a win, win, win. I would recommend safari.com to anyone planning their trip and their experiences in SA.

Trip planning made easily and with kindness!
I was in need of help quickly to book a place to stay for 6 people. I wasn’t sure if I should drive or fly and Pascal helped me so quickly and was so kind and patient. He texted with me, called me and was wonderful to work with. He provided me with 2 quotes and helped me through the booking process. Looking forward to our trip!

Great customer service
Heleen went out of her way to find us accommodation. We left our planning way to late and were looking at the busiest time of year yet she worked her magic.
