Begin your journey from Johannesburg with a scheduled flight from OR Tambo International Airport to the Kruger National Park. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to Lion Sands Narina lodge for check-in. (The scheduled flights for this safari may also begin/end in Cape town with direct flights from Cape Town to Skukuza available).
Settle into your Luxury Suite, built to afford complete privacy in a wilderness where you can watch the animals come down to the river from your pool and deck. Sliding doors and windows open up your sanctuary to the outside.
As the daylight fades, you will head out with your guide and tracker for an evening/night game drive through the reserve in search of wildlife including the Big 5. Expect an uninterrupted game-viewing experience in an untouched African wilderness. Game drives average 3 -4 hours in duration with a refreshments stop en-route. Arrive back at the lodge in time to freshen up before enjoying a sumptuous dinner.
The next two days are spent in the welcome embrace of one of Africa's finest game-viewing destinations.
A visit to Lion Sands Narina can completely restore your energy allowing you to truly relax. When you’re right on the Sabie River, watching the animals, surrounded by bush and sky, you really feel like you’ve escaped from the world. With 5 000ha of wilderness in this private concession within the world-renowned Kruger National Park, you can go exploring off-road, follow in the footsteps of a leopard, track down a herd of elephants, or simply wait for them to come to you.
Set off for exciting game walks and morning & evening/night game drives to experience sightings of the Big 5 and smaller game such as bushbuck, kudu and even monkeys. Game viewing can even be enjoyed from the large river deck at the lodge or from the privacy of your own private plunge pool.
After one final game drive and a warm heartening breakfast, you bid farewell to the African bush as you transfer back to the airport in time to catch your flight back to Johannesburg's OR Tambo Airport. Here, you will connect with your onward travel arrangements.

I highly recommend Shann Shaw
Shann Shaw has been great to work with and she has tried her best to try to meet our budget expectations. She is very kind, responsive and detailed in her explanations and really, really helpful. When I told her I decided to book through expedia or booking, she still explained how everything worked and how these websites sometimes don't have all the details you need, yet, she work hard in getting us our flights and the hotel that we really wanted for this experience.
