- 0–2 years free of charge; 3–12 years child rate; 12+ adult rate. In Deluxe Tents, extra child sharing with adults is 50% of adult rate (U12). In Family Tents, child rate applies to children in the children's tent; 3rd child is 50% of adult rate. Extra child's bed on request (U12).

Standard Changa T&Cs welcome children of all ages (0–2 FOC, 3–12 child rate) and Family Tents accommodate U12 children at child rates. However, the 2026-27 Stay-Pay packages, 3-Free-Flights specials and Stay-Pay-Package specials all state "No children under 12 years" — this restriction applies only to those packages/specials, not to standard bookings. Family Tents (2 sets of interleading adult/children's tents) require a minimum of 3 pax. Walking safaris are strictly 16+. Pools are unfenced and unmanned; children remain the responsibility of parents/guardians. Private Vehicle Hire is available at ~$460/night (or $400 on some domestic rate sheets), non-commissionable, subject to availability — not stipulated as a family requirement.
