Long stay
Changa is offered in combination with The Hide in Hwange, with a six-night itinerary of three nights at each camp at a specially calculated package rate, available for travel from 1 April to 31 October and including all meals, beverages, laundry, Wi-Fi, activities and national park and conservation fees at both camps. A longer Zimbabwe circuit pairs The Hide, Changa and John's Camp in Mana Pools over eight nights (three, two and three nights) or nine nights (three nights at each), with three inter-camp flights included, Victoria Falls to Hwange, Hwange to Kariba and Kariba to Mana, for travel in May to October; the return flight to Victoria Falls or Harare, visas, international flights and gratuities are excluded. All these combinations require a minimum of two guests, are open to guests of 12 years and over only, apply to new bookings only and are not combinable with other offers; on the six-night combination, transfers to Changa are not included.

Standard Changa T&Cs welcome children of all ages (0–2 FOC, 3–12 child rate) and Family Tents accommodate U12 children at child rates. However, the 2026-27 Stay-Pay packages, 3-Free-Flights specials and Stay-Pay-Package specials all state "No children under 12 years" — this restriction applies only to those packages/specials, not to standard bookings. Family Tents (2 sets of interleading adult/children's tents) require a minimum of 3 pax. Walking safaris are strictly 16+. Pools are unfenced and unmanned; children remain the responsibility of parents/guardians. Private Vehicle Hire is available at ~$460/night (or $400 on some domestic rate sheets), non-commissionable, subject to availability — not stipulated as a family requirement.
