The story.
The Varty family acquired their patch of Sabi Sand in 1926, and have run it as a non-hunting photographic reserve since the early 1970s. Making Londolozi one of the oldest custodial private reserves in southern Africa.
The Vartys helped invent the modern leopard-tracking ethic that now defines Sabi Sand safari, and that lineage shows in every drive: long approaches, no rushing, generous time at sightings.
