The Jao Collection is the independent home of the camps in the Okavango Delta’s Jao Reserve (NG25), an exclusive private concession held by the Kays family. Jao, Kwetsani, Jacana, Tubu Tree, Little Tubu and Pelo span water and dry-land Delta, from architectural flagship luxury to intimate back-to-nature camps.
The Jao Reserve is a private concession on the western edge of the Okavango Delta. Seasonal floodwaters move through it each year, so the safari shifts with the water: mokoro and boat when the flood is up, game drives on the islands when it recedes.
Three of the reserve's camps are sold through us. Jao Camp is the flagship, Tubu Tree and Jacana the smaller tree-line and water camps, each holding a handful of tents.

Jacana Camp is a remote, five-tent water camp set on a teardrop-shaped island in the private Jao Reserve, deep within the Okavango Delta.
The luxurious Jao Camp is positioned within the private Jao Concession that encompasses riverine forests and glistening floodplains.
Little Tubu is a three-suite tented camp on Hunda Island in the Okavango Delta, sharing the rich game-viewing territory of its sister Tubu Tree Camp but with a smaller footprint and dedicated staff.
