The story.

Wilderness was founded in Botswana in 1983 and has grown into one of the largest photographic-safari operators on the continent, with concessions across Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Rwanda, Kenya and Tanzania.

Their model is built on long private concessions. A leverage that lets the camps stay genuinely remote rather than collected into clusters of tourist density.

Why Wilderness

Six million acres of African wilderness in their care, the largest conservation footprint of any luxury safari operator.

Bisate in Rwanda, Mombo in Botswana and Vumbura Plains in the Okavango are the flagships people remember for life.
