The house

The story.

andBeyond was founded in 1991 as Conservation Corporation Africa, rebranding to its current name in 2008. The operator now runs twenty-nine lodges across thirteen countries on three continents, with a footprint that includes flagships at Phinda, Sandibe, and Mnemba Island.

Conservation is structurally embedded. The andBeyond Africa Foundation channels guest revenue into care of the wildlife, land, and communities at every property.

Why andBeyond

For multi-property African journeys: Tanzania-then-Botswana, Cape Town-then-Phinda, the migration-then-Mnemba. AndBeyond’s coordinated logistics and consistent service standard make complicated trips feel simple.

Their interior design varies enormously between properties, from contemporary statement (Sandibe, Phinda Forest) to refined classic (Lake Manyara Tree Lodge). The through-line is service, not style.
