The Detail
Cheetah Plains features three exclusive-use, designer Bush Houses, each comprising four private suites. The suites include king-size beds, en-suite bathrooms with double rain showers, bathtubs overlooking the bushveld, dressing rooms, lounges, minibars, tea and coffee-making facilities, and private decks equipped with daybeds.
Each Bush House can accommodate up to eight guests. They include two cozy lounges, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, an outdoor boma, a wine cellar, a heated swimming pool, and a private viewing deck with a daybed. During your stay, a private chef, butler, and professional guide will attend to your every need. Guests also have access to a central gym and the services of a private spa therapist.
After enjoying afternoon tea, embark on the first of your exhilarating twice-daily game drives. Your professional field guide will take you on a personalized journey to discover and observe wildlife in ways you never imagined.
Exploring the bushveld in the late afternoon is an ideal time to spot predators in the Sabi Sand. Leopards and lions often emerge in the early evening to drink water or rest in preparation for the night’s hunt.
Thanks to Cheetah Plains' concession rights, only two safari vehicles are allowed in shared areas of the reserve at any given time. Guests are guaranteed exclusivity during their safari experience in Cheetah Plains and its surrounding areas.
The Sabi Sand Game Reserve is home to an incredible array of wildlife, including 145 mammal species, 110 reptiles, and 500 bird species. Visitors can look forward to sightings of leopards, lions, rhinos, elephants, buffalo, cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, hyenas, and a variety of antelope species. The reserve also provides sanctuary to endangered species such as wild dogs, honey badgers, and ground hornbills.
Cheetah Plains is an ideal destination for families or small groups seeking an exclusive and luxurious safari experience.

Safari Specialist - Southern Africa
Knows Cheetah Plains backwards. Your direct contact from first enquiry to the day you come home.
"Very helpful with itinerary and excellent arrangements of transport from and to Cape Town, and Idubi in Sabi Sands and Lukimbi in Kruger. Although a rep for Safari.com said a letter from a doctor was not required, such a letter IS REQUIRED to go on bush walks if older than 65. Fortunately, we checked the reserve web site and had a doctor's letter."
