Highly recommended. What a wonderful first safari experience! As a solo traveler (and my first time in South Africa), the experience could not have been better. Safari.com handled all my travel arrangements which went flawlessly. And the Honey Guide game reserve was fantastic! I saw many animals in 2x daily game drives. The accommodations were very comfortable, the food was fabulous and all the staff were warm and welcoming. Holiday of Dreams. After deciding to embark on our first Safari we didn’t know where to start. We had already chosen our destination of Mhondoro Safari Lodge & Villas after following them for sometime on Instagram. I came across Safari.com when researching travel companies to book with and it was the best decision I made. Sara Van Collie was absolutely amazing. She sorted everything from the initial idea to the last day in SA. She arranged a 5 star hotel for our arrival day and departure day which included a personal driver both ways. She arranged the 3 day stay with Mhondoro including private transfers and all insurance cover we needed. But it didn’t stop there. Her personal touch of contacting us throughout our visit brought comfort and reassurance to our trip knowing she was just a message away with any questions we may have. When we landed she checked in with us and Welcomed us to her beautiful country, made sure we were ok during and wished us a safe journey home on our last day. She literally brought my dream to life and I can’t thank her enough. There is no other company or person I would want to deal with when looking to return to SA in the future than Sara and Africa.com.
