The Detail

Mbali Mbali Tarangire River Camp is located within a 25,000-hectare concession area. The camp overlooks a branch of the Tarangire River, offering stunning views in a serene natural setting. Its prime location makes it ideal for game viewing, as it is only 3.5 kilometers from the main entrance to Tarangire National Park.

The main lodge's structure is adorned with traditional grass thatching and sits off the ground on an elevated deck. The breezy lounge provides ample seating in a relaxing open-air environment. The dining area, where culturally inspired meals are served, features simple safari-style seating. Its elevated position also allows for excellent views over the riverbank.

Both the dining and lounge areas lead into a well-designed bonfire area and a game-viewing deck with the same breathtaking views. Additionally, the lodge has a small, informal gift shop that offers families from nearby Maasai villages the opportunity to sell their handmade wares.
