The highlight of Manta Resort is the unique ‘Underwater Room’, a three-story glass-fronted suite where your bedroom is four meters below water. The scuba diving off Pemba is truly spectacular, with visibility of 30 to 40 meters on most days and an average water temperature of 26 degrees Celsius. You can dive and snorkel on pristine reefs in total seclusion, explore this magical island with its rich history of the spice trade and the rise and fall of the Arab empire, embark on a sandbank trip at low tide, enjoy a Ngalawa sunset cruise, and wander lush tropical forests in search of monkeys and the endemic flying fox.
