"We left Londolozi three nights ago and still have smiles on our faces as we remember our experience there. The game viewing was superb thanks to Nick and Bennet. Their knowledge of both the wildlife and plant life was outstanding. The lion and leopard sightings were remarkable. We loved our room, especially the fireplace on that last chilly evening. The food was delicious. Bought some nice items at the gift store. Had a wonderful massage! My husband took advantage of the photography studio and had some amazing prints made. Londolozi is magical and I hope to return."
"Stayed for one night on saturday 12 September, from the time we arrived we were looked after by Erin, Duncan? and teams. Rooms were spacious, airy with exceptional views. Faultless, attentive service. Unpretentious cuisine, delicate yet flavorful, exceptional 5 course dinner pairings theme with Champagne Dom Perignon Plenitudes P2 1998. Knowledgeable game drive with David, this guy knows what he is doing, sense the passion here. The place to stay when seeking the Big Five in the wild. Thank you"
"Londolozi was wonderful. The staff (Garrett, Tammie, Phil, Mendrew, Alfred, Equalizer) were top notch!! Our chalet was one of the best we have ever stayed in. We saw The Big Five over and over again. We saw lions eating a zebra kill among other great sights! We were so sad to leave. Hope to get back there one day!"
"We travel all over the world and this lodge and reserve is the best. The wildlife is incredible and the lodging and staff are beyond expectations. They treat their employees like family. Food is fresh and of high quality. Loved every minute of it and you felt very welcomed. Will be visiting again in 2015!"
"We stayed 2 nights in Londolozi Founders Camp in September and the least I can say is that it was far too short! We would have loved to stay there few more days as it is an amazing area with a very rich wildlife. The camp is great and the service is clearly exceeding all the possible expectations that one can have. Originally, we have chosen Londolozi for the huge leopard population that is existing in the Sabi Sand area and I can tell it was the right choice! We were guided by Dean and Elmon during our game drives and we had a wonderful time with them. They are extremely friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. We had the chance to witness amazing wildlife scenes over there such as leopard couple mating and a Cheetah tracking his next prey. We have had superb opportunities for photography. We also had the chance to meet John Varty during our stay and it was a interesting experience to hear him talking about his passion for big cats. We can't imagine coming back to South Africa without going to Londolozi! Thanks to all the Londolozi team to make a so good job. Thanks to Jess and Nadia for their assistance during our stay and thanks to Dean for his dedication to make our game drives the best possible."
"We traveled to Sabi Sands for our honeymoon in June and stayed in this amazing lodge. There are no words to describe it, best service I've ever experienced, food was amazing, the rooms were beautiful and very spacious, the location was astonishing, the staff, and especially our guide (James) and our ranger (Richard) were very professional and they really knew EVERYTHING!!! We got to see the big 5 numerous times, plus a whole lot more of animals. We seriously have no words to explain how amazing this trip was, by far, the best part of our honeymoon!! Thanks so much for an amazing experience!!!"
"If you want to see wildlife, have a luxurious room and be treated like royalty, this is the place to go in South Africa. We stayed 5 nights and had a fantastic game viewing experience both on the game drives as well as just off the lodge deck. The photographic opportunities were insanely good. The room was well appointed with our own private plunge pool outside. The staff was great and we thoroughly enjoyed all of our meals."
"I last visited Londolozi in 1994 and having just spent four days at Founders Camp, I can not understand what took me so long to return! It was a very special time and everyone made us feel so welcome. As Kiwis mixing with South Africans, naturally there was a lot of talk about the 2015 Rugby World Cup. But teasing aside, we felt very at home with our fellow southern hemisphere friends. Our heartfelt thanks to Tammy and Garret who looked after us at home base, and to Sandros and Axon, who have to be the best rangers and trackers on the planet! We were first to spot the lion cubs one evening and first to sight their mother and father reunited the following day. We saw all the game, including the famous Leopards of Londolozi which the Varty family have championed for generations. The philosophy of Londolozi is based on conservation and respect for not only the animals, but for everyone working there. As John Varty said to me in 1994 "walk lightly on this earth". Very sage advice as we return to our urban jungle. As for the chalet, it was beautifully appointed with our own plunge pool overlooking the Sabi Sands river and completely private. We are already planning our next trip in September so looking forward to that very much."
"After spend tree days at Londolozi, it is difficult to go back to a normal life. I just got back last night and what a memorable experience! The staff is exceptional and treat you like family. I could not imagine better guides than Tom and Jerry! The facilities left not to be desired! The food was excellent."
"What an amazing experience we had at this camp and celebrated our 30th anniversary. Everyone at Londolozi went out of their way to make sure it was a perfect "second" honeymoon. We could not have asked for a better place, or better scenery or better service. Everyone was great and very knowledgeable. Thank you Phil, Garrett, Mike, Thammy, Life and the rest of the Londolozi staff. You enriched our lives even more than we thought possible. Great to know that true beauty still exists in the world. We are already planning our next trip there!"
"Now this is a place that oozes charm, sophistication, and fantastic service. I first came here nearly 20 years ago, my wife even longer. In my opinion, it cannot be beaten for the way it delivers its 'raison d'etre'! The bedrooms are simply out of this world, sumptuous and tasteful with amazing views of the bush. The game drives are the best by far, with private Landrovers, guide and tracker at your disposal. Watching the big five and more. They demonstrate a really passion for their craft and conservation. The service is simple outstanding. And believe me when I say, I know what good service should be. Faultless, caring, responsive and charming. An example at lunch today. My wife fancied some crisps, salted ones at that. Within five minutes a dish of hot, homemade and salted, potato chips (crisps) turned up at the table. Now that's service! Amazing place, amazing people, amazing experience. If you ever have a chance, then come. It will stay with you forever. Magical!"
