December and January are the calving seasons, bringing plenty of action. The Bateleur Camp reflects the ambiance of authentic Kenyan safaris and is the epitome of tented luxury.
Your journey continues to the Serengeti, undoubtedly one of the world's most celebrated wilderness areas. The next two days are spent at Serengeti under Canvas, a mobile camp that moves around the park year-round, attempting to anticipate the movements of the Great Migration and ensure prime viewing.
Next, you head to the smaller Lake Manyara National Park, a diverse wilderness area with its Rift Valley soda lake, dense woodlands, and steep mountainsides. The park is famous for its unusual tree-climbing lions, vast elephant herds, and flocks of pink flamingos. The next two days are spent at Lake Manyara Tree Lodge, the only permanent lodge in the national park. Cradled in the boughs of an ancient mahogany forest, the lodge blends into the natural beauty of its breathtaking surroundings.
The last stop on your safari adventure is the Ngorongoro Crater, once a gigantic volcano but now a 600m deep crater that shelters one of the most beautiful wildlife havens in Africa. The last two days are spent on the edge of the crater at Ngorongoro Crater Lodge—a luxury lodge with unbeatable views and convenient access to the crater floor.
Offering authentic tented accommodation and one-of-a-kind experiences, this tour is perfect for travelers wanting to embark on a wildlife adventure.

Anja at Safari.com was a great partner to work with!
Working with Anja at Safari.com was great. She was able to work some magic and got us a few nights at the safari lodge we really wanted, Ngoma. Unfortunately, our flight from the USA to South Africa was canceled and we were rebooked a day later but Anja was great about making sure our lodge and the transports knew about the change in plans and made sure we got to our trip as soon as we could. She was a great partner to have and communicated quickly whenever we reached out. I would highly recommend using her when planning a trip to Africa!
