September is Heritage Month and, to celebrate our heritage, South African National Parks (SANParks) has opened their National Parks to locals for a week, free of charge. South African citizens can visit any of the SANParks managed National Parks, including the Kruger National Park. The drive aims to create awareness and instil a sense of pride in South Africa's natural and cultural heritage. In keeping with those aims, this year's theme is "Know Your National Parks".
