"Everything was wonderful... this includes all the attentive staff, the location, the food, the chalet and of course all the animals we saw. Yes... spotted the big 5 with 24 hours or arrival. Craig the Ranger was amazing and really made our stay special. Thank you for a great stay... we will be back for more."

"Cheetah Plains was a major highlight from our honeymoon. The chalets were gorgeous. The staff and food were amazing. Andrew was a terrific guide and he helped us get up close and personal with all of the big 5. Safely :)"

"Stayed for two nights. Very welcoming staff, Good bar and swimming pool. Lots of wildlife close to lodge and even in the lodge grounds. Game drives are very good with many sightings of the Big 5. Free drink and cool towel there when you arrive back from game drives is a nice touch. Very good breakfast, fresh and tasty. Dinner is served outdoors under the stars with a fire going and is outstanding. One night we had beef fillet steak and it would have to be the most tender well cooked piece of meat I have ever had, wish there was more! Rooms are very comfortable and well appointed with everything you could need. Free Wifi. Air con. Good laundry service as well."

"This was our first game reserve, our first safari. All expectations were exceeded. The chalet was perfect and had every amenity, the food was delicious and plentiful, the grounds were lovely with animals wandering about, but the staff was the very best part. Everyone was friendly & helpful and seemed to go that extra mile to make sure we were happy and our experience amazing. Craig was especially great on the drives - interested in what we wanted to see, warm & cheerful with a great sense of humor, obviously in love with his job and surroundings. We loved the communal feel of meals & drives. Cheetah Plains makes you feel welcome and part of a special nature - loving family. Would love to return some day!"

"The facility was very comfortable - nice bed, mosquito net, drawers for clothes, bathroom, wifi, electric outlets, lighting, etc. And an outdoor shower - luxury! The staff were terrific - welcoming, always greeting you, always positive and helpful. The game drives were great! The guides were knowledgeable and communicated with each other so that we could more easily locate animals. We got very close to many animals with many opportunities for photos. There was an abundance of food available - all high quality, though I found the dinners somewhat rich. Highly recommended!"

"I planned a solo trip to Africa. I visited 3 countries in 15 days. I cannot describe how fantastic my stay at Cheetah Plains was! I was on a "bucket list trip" to Africa alone and I was welcomed and made to feel like family. All the staff was warm & welcoming, always trying to please. The game drives were more than fantastic. The wildlife was abundant and Craig made great photos possible! I have many photographs to view and remember. The food served was bountiful and fantastic! There was no shortage of great food. Sakhile introduced me to Amarula... liquid heaven! I would highly recommend staying at Cheetah Plains. If I ever have the opportunity to return to Africa, Cheetah Plains will be first on my list!"

"What a special place! The accommodation in individual ronavels was beautiful and comfortable; the wildlife was abundant, both within the camp and on the fantastic game drives; our driver and guide ,Efraim, was highly skilled, knowledgeable and professional. We saw the Big Five twice in two days and had the most wonderful time. The communal meals were highly enjoyable and of a good standard. We would love to return one day and highly recommend Cheetah Plains ."

"Excellent hotel. Staff very accommodating. Visit with my 12 year old son. The hotel went out of their way to accommodate his quirky eating habits. Will definitely visit again. Big five reserve. The guides were very knowledgeable. Will definitely visit again."

"I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Djuma Bush Lodge. Great people, good food, good room. A great place to see the animals. Saw the big 5 so many times that we went hunting for other animals. The list of animals that we saw is a long one. Able and Andrew were excellent trackers and, if the animals were at Djuma, they could find them. If you want to see the animals, I would recommend Djuma Bush Lodge highly. A perfect mix of bush setting with good service.Carien du Plessis, booking agent at Krugerpark.com was very helpful with my last minute bookings and got everything right. Thank you."

"There are no words to tell you how wonderful it was to stay at Cheetah Plains. I can't wait to go back. No trip to Africa would be complete with out staying there. Everyone treated us like family. The food was outstanding. Craig our game driver and tracker was unforgettable. He even had to rescue one of the others guest cell phone and became a hit on the internet. We saw animals I never thought we would see like African Wild Dogs and a Honey Badger. Next vacation I won't jump around to different lodges. Cheetah Plains won my heart."
