Sabi Sabi Selati Camp is a charming private lodge situated in the renowned Sabi Sands Game Reserve which shares 50 kilometers of its unfenced boundary line with neighboring Kruger National Park. This romantic lodge conjures up images of a time when life was a little slower, a little gentler and a lot more indulgent.
The award-winning lodge was named after the Selati railway line which was used to transport gold found in the Drakensberg escarpment. The railway bed can still be seen nearby and the lodge pays tribute to this era with a historic railway theme present throughout the lodge with original steam engine nameplates, signals and shunter’s lamps, and collectible pieces.
Accommodation at Selati is provided in seven luxury thatched Suites, each featuring a full en-suite bathroom, a private outdoor area complete with outdoor shower, lounge area, in-room safe, tea and coffee making facilities, ceiling fan and air conditioning, minibar, and romantic oil lantern lighting at night.
The Lourenco Marques Honeymoon Suite has a king-size bed and features indoor and outdoor bathtubs and showers. Couples celebrating special occasions are treated with champagne, in-suite dining, and petal-laced beds.
The Ivory Presidential Suite is fit for kings and queens with its four-poster king-size bed, private patio, fireplace, indoor and outdoor bathtubs and showers, and a private plunge pool. The suite is also equipped with a private safari vehicle.
The lodge facilities include a lounge area with fireplace, bar, boma, swimming pool, Wi-Fi access, and access to the Amani Spa and boutique shop.
Guests to Selati Camp have a variety of activities and planned outings laid before them. Dawn and dusk game drives are conducted daily in open safari vehicles and led by skilled rangers and Shangaan trackers. Informative, hands-on guided game walks are also conducted after breakfast, offering guests a completely different experience of the park and its inhabitants.

The time difference across the globe made no difference. I am so excited for the itinerary she has put together. Great planning and service
Great planning and service, and everything worked like clockwork. We booked an Inyari Lodge safari with air with Safari.com. it wasn't clear if there will be 2 or three of us, so with Candis' help we booked a family chalet for 2 and added the third later when it was confirmed he can come. Candis put us on flights that maximized our game drive time (unlike some of the other guests) so we got all 6 drives in 3 nights. The lodge was great. Especially the game drives. We saw more than we hoped for. Additionally, Safari.com's insurance was very competitive. Highly recommended.

Fantastic travel agent for African safari family trip!
Wow! Shann was and is fantastic! She figured out a way to make our entire trip work. We are going on a 2 week trip to South Africa and Botswana. She really helped tie it all together as a wonderful, cohesive trip. She is super nice and super smart and very knowledgeable. She is also flexible and thoughtful, etc., etc. When the chips were down (and we literally were considering pulling the plug on the whole trip), she found a way to make the entire itinerary work and got us excited about our wonderful adventure!
