Reviews

We stayed 2 nights at this camp. Nice for people who like fishing. If you are not lucky to find camping near the river you end up in thick sand. Still enjoyed it very much

De Hoop is and will remain the preffered camp for campers. Kokerboom can be as good if the water and ablution can be rectified.

Gert Kalis

New ablutions are good.

Peter Lofstedt

The Richersveld was awesome!

The staff at Sendelings drift were fantastic, we underestimated the traveling time and were late arriving on Saturday evening, we planned to camp at Sendelings Drift but because we arrived late and had children with us we requested two Chalets for the night. Our request was no problem and the duty manager (Carmen) came from her home to let us have the keys. The friendly way in which we were treated was really wonderful particularly after a long trip. Thank you to Elias at the gate, he was very eager to help with advice. We camped at de Hoop for four nights and really enjoyed the experience. The only negative of the trip was, after we had crossed into Namibia and passed through the Border Post, to be harassed by two members of the Namibian Police scratching through wallets and bags apparently looking for diamonds but all the while trying to solicit bribes in money or in kind. Other than this one incident we really enjoyed our stay!

The campsite was lovely. We were expecting rustic which is what we got. The roads are in shocking condition and the goats and sheep that are allowed to graze in the park was a disappointing sight.

Kirsten Cromhout

An great setting for a campsite

Johan van Vuuren

A very nice & quiet spot
