We changed camping to Sendelingsdrift instead, which was a huge plus on our schedule as it was late when we arrived.

We stayed in Potjiespram in December and now again in April. One word AWESOME!! We'll be back.......De Hoop is next!

To me this was the best camp site. Very quiet and well protected from the wind. The apes were a problem and nowhere were signs up to warn people about them. Lots of birds. We stayed 3 nights.

the camp was basic as expected and obviously the river had changed the area during the rainy season, so the camp was enclosed by thick bush and river not easily accessed. Noise from mining activity was intrusive.

The lady at the Transformation Gate was a huge embarrassment to myself and my felow guests. She was unappreciated unfriendly and rude. I mentioned that to reception thereafter where we signed in and make other payments.

In general the experience was awesome. Maintenace of ablution facilities is a problem and can improve.

Not for the faint hearted but a wonderful camp particularly when the mountains are a rockery of flowering plants. The protection of the natural bush makes sheltered camping and the Nama style ablutions are great (the water is cold). We will visit again.

A lot of vervet monkeys at Potjiespram, which are a real nuisance

The campsite at Potjiespram was very nice! Privacy was great, and even though you couldn't see the river from the campsite, the access to it was easily accessible. Ablutions neat and effective, and more than we expected. What a great time!!
