Skukuza Restcamp has become my favourite, and the Cattle Baron restaurant was amazing. The camp is beautifully clean, the bungalows comfortable and spotless. The only downer to the stay was the ranger/driver on the nightdrive. He really seemed unknowledgable and drove so fast we all had to scream repeatedly for him to stop once something of interest was spotted.
Although we only stayed for one night, it was one of the best experiences. The staff were friendly and the bungalow was amazing, clean and had an air conditioner for the heat. They had everything we needed in the bungalow so we didn't have to buy anything except the food we cooked and the drinks we had. the parking was right next to each bungalow so we didn't have to walk far from the car.
It is a very peaceful place to go and I recommend it for your trip. ten out of ten
We had a exceptional visit to the park. 2 leopard sightings and 6 lion sightings.
As always the camp sites are clean, neat and tidy. A great time of the year to visit.

This camp has it all, easy access to all main routes and also the roads that have the majority of life happening on them. We ended up back here after staying nights at Berg en Dal, Pretorious and Lower Sabie finding it the most central rest camp for the Southern Kruger area. Also by far the best restaurant and WiFi connection.
Nous avons passé une nuit à Skukuza. Hébergement familial (2 chambres séparées) correct, propre, bungalow avec belle vue sur la rivière en contrebas et présence d'animaux (hippopotames, impalas...). Bon restaurant, cadre agréable, copieux et prix très raisonnables. Route magnifique entre Skukuza et Lower Sabie : plein d'animaux (lions, éléphants, zèbres, etc...) et beaux paysages, dont un petit étang avec crocodiles.

Big house with lots of space foe a Group of friends. Good beds and friendly house keeper. Hope to stay there again.

The best rest camp in Kruger....the restaurant food was excellent and the rooms were immaculate. Although short-lived this was the best place to stay at. I will most definitely recommend it to friends and family

Enjoyed our one night stay
Our room was facing the river, it was big, clean and very nice! The restaurant was great! We didn't want to leave.
We were impressed with the professional attitude shown by all staff. Thanks for a great stay. Accommodation was clean and well maintained. We saw all the big 5 in one day, even a Leopard.

Everything went well and quick. It was clean, the restaurants have a nice view where you can see elephants and buffaloes drinking and eating at the riverside. The services are good. The supermarket has just enough. The prices are reasonable or even cheap to European standards. The weaker points maybe be the swimming pool and the internet connection in the restaurant (dropping all the time). In the restaurant we had to wait about 90 minutes for our food because the electricity went off.
Bungalows were too small for 3 people, but clean and neat and comfortable. Food at Cattle Baron excellent, shop great, grounds need attention, no grass to be seen for kids to play on, swimming pool good.
The Camp Skukuza was really lovely. The grounds were very neat and the shop was well stocked with everything you could need. Our little rondavel was clean and had everything we needed. The air conditioner was old but worked really well. The only issue was there was a very strong smell of diesel in our room.
It's really great and good value for money.
We stayed one night and were pleasantly surprised at the size of the camp and everything was well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
It rates as one of my best holiday experience. Value for money. I appreciate the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the accommodation. An all round magnificent experience!

Great First Trip to Skukuza. Accommodation was simple but scrupulously clean & everything we needed was provided. The staff were friendly & helpful - great value for Money. I would definitely visit again. Plenty of Game sightings including the big 5 in one day - not often that happens!

Good to see the park again! The restaurant is really good with good food! Its a pity about the service from the staff at the restaurant, this needs to be addressed, however overall loved the stay at the camp.
We had a fantastic stay. Accommodation was very comfortable and there was not complaints.
Thoroughly enjoyed the stay. As expected, December in the Kruger is bound to be hot, but what wasn't expected was the temps soaring to 45C! Luckily our unit was equipped with air con . An absolutely must-have in December ! Wildlife around Skukuza is never an issue and it didn't take us long to tick off the big 5. We were fortunate enough returning to camp one afternoon to run into a pack of about 15 wild dogs on the Phabeni road. Awesome experience as they were running on the tar road for about 1 km in front of the vehiclesDefinitely enjoyed the stay and had some golf at the Skukuza Golf Club as well
We have stayed here before in the Chalets, this time in a caravan. Park well laid out, Great restaurant and shop. Clean ablutions, well maintained. Staff friendly and helpful. Would suggest it to anyone.
We had a river view unit, and we loved every minute staying at Skukuza.

Entry at Phalaborwa gate very efficient. Check in at Skukuza fast and efficient. Accommodation in safari tent as expected basic but clean.
We really enjoyed our stay at Skukuza Restcamp. The service was great with very friendly staff that even personally came to say hi at the end of our stay. Food was also very good and the rooms and other accommodation very tidy. This blended perfectly together with the amazing scenery of the park so definitely worth it to stay overnight!

A lovely stay with amazing client service. We logged a call regarding the aircon which was faulty, and within a hour the technician had accessed the problem and replaced the aircon! Thank you!

Our 4 nights at Skukuza were terrific. The room was very clean and comfortable. The surrounds were well maintained and attractive. The shop was well stocked with basic essentials plus a few extras. The restaurant was excellent.
Tent was better than we thought. Beds were comfortable and we slept good.
Excellent campsites and ablution facilities.
Busy campsite, so suggest early check in to get best possible sites.

The nicest big camp. Great Cattle Barron Steak restaurant. Ideal for game viewing.
We had a super experience with the Bushbabies having a serious argument in the tree outside our unit. We had never seen a bushbaby so close.
Bush walk was nice. Didn't see many animals but the outing was enjoyable. Our stay in the bungalow was neat and comfortable. Definite revisit in the future!

Enjoyed most of my stay at Skukuza. Unfortunately, the arrival day rained most of the day and we arrived a bit early and there wasn't much to do while we waited till the 2 pm checking time for the bungalows. After we got accommodated, things got much better and we enjoyed a lot the sunset safari and the rest of our stay in the camp area. The Park is amazing and, not guaranteeing that we'll see all of the area's wildlife, there are always pleasant surprises in the Park area.

I probably stayed in the same hut 30 years ago and nothing has changed. Reception staff were great.
We entered at Malelane gate, camping at Skukuza site, Every one was very helpful and the service was very good. Ablutions at Skukuza was very neat and clean, it was a pleasure camping there, I experience that Lower Sabie's toilets for day visitors was not always up to standard, Pretoriuskop very neat and clean and the new Restaurants and take a way's are a plus for the Park. Next time I will go for longer than 16 days it was worth it. Thanks to all the staff "SKUKUZA YOU ROCK"

what an awesome experience. We camped at Skukuza and didn't have a moment where it wasn't fun. The bathrooms was always clean the camping areas was also kept clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Will recommend a stay there anytime.
