The romantic 1920s-styled Singita Sabora Tented Camp is located in Northern Tanzania within the magnificent 350 000
The Grumeti concession, which is managed by Singita, was created to preserve the Serengeti Mara ecosystem and protect the path of the annual wildebeest migration.
Singita Sabora Tented Camp is elevated to offer 360-degree views of the wildlife abundant plains and the world's largest annual animal migration. About two million wildebeest, zebra and gazelle make their way north into Kenya's Masai Mara, passing through the Grumeti and Serengeti reserves.
Sabora offers nine opulent Bedouin canvas Tents that feature a spacious bedroom, an en-suite bathroom, antique mahogany travel chests, Persian rugs, traditional Maasai blankets, and various antiques and artifacts. The tents lead onto the plains where day beds are scattered to provide spots for relaxation and incredible game viewing.
The lodge facilities include a sparkling swimming pool, spa, gym, lounge with television, boutique and gallery, as well as complimentary Wi-Fi access although due to the remote location of the lodge this connection can be slow and intermittent.
Activities offered at the lodge include daily morning and afternoon game drives led by professional guides. Afternoon drives continue into the early evening, offering the opportunity to spot the rare nocturnal species of the African bushveld. For the more adventurous traveler, there are walking safaris that offer a close-up encounter with the smaller wondrous creatures of the bush, stargazing, community visits, swimming, board games and archery which can be arranged.
During your stay, you are likely to see a great variety of wildlife including bat-eared foxes, buffalo, cheetah, Colobus monkey, various antelope, elephant, leopard, lion and Massai giraffe.

"If God were a camper, he would choose Sabora Tented Camp. It's truly heaven on Earth! Sabora is nestled in the middle of Singita's 350,000 acres, and is not fenced in. It's pure luxury with a leather tiled bathroom and all the amenities; crystal decanters filled with spirits; curtains tied back with leather buckled straps. There is an outdoor shower, and indoor bath tub. Sabora is Serengeti, up close and in your face; zebras and buffalos grazing in front of the tent. Service is pampering and spoiling- like a new born baby is pampered and spoiled by all. Of the three Singita properties, Sabora is my favorite. They are all luxurious and have impeccable service and delicious food. Sabora puts me in a bygone era of the Hemingway period; and in Sabora, I'm one with Serengeti."

"Truly a special camp with everything one could desire. The migration flowed in as we sat there in awe of the numbers. If you can afford it - treat yourself to this top of the line camp. Every detail is well done - every service delivered with a smile! Why would you stay in a lodge when you can stay at somewhere like Sabora?"

"Singita has to be the best management company for safari lodges. From the moment we were met at Singita's airstrip, the staff made us feel like we were the only guests. The lodging was far beyond our expectations in terms of a tented camp and the bed provided sleep that we haven't had in forever. Alfred was our guide and he was a walking African Safari encyclopedia! He knew everyone else was and what they had seen and then determined the best course to see animals and herds they had seen and where to look for those they hadn't. Couldn't imagine going anywhere else!"

"Sabora was amazing. The tents are top shelf, and the staff was the best! We were pampered for the moment we stepped on the property. The food was also 5 star! I would highly recommend Sabora to anyone looking to have the experince of a life time!"
