The Elephant Camp is a luxury safari camp nestled in the woodland area of the Victoria Falls National Park and is located only a mere 10 kilometers from the majestic Victoria Falls.
The Elephant Camp was named after the magnificent herd of elephants that frequently visit the camp and guests have the opportunity to interact with these "giants" and learn more about their way of life.
The interior of the camp is a blend of modern and cultural concepts that are reminiscent of a bygone era. Elevated off the ground, this intimate camp offers breathtaking views of the African bushveld towards the yawning Batoka Gorge and the mists of the Falls.
The Elephant Main Camp consists of 12 luxury suites and The Elephant Camp West consisting of only four suites.
The Luxury Tented Suites highlight the spectacular scenery with each glass-fronted suite opening onto the viewing deck that overlooks the African bushveld. Each suite features a bedroom, en-suite bathroom, comfortable lounge area, airconditioning, ceiling fans, minibars, and tea and coffee making facilities. All the suites are gorge facing, making for the most magical sunrises and sunsets.
Two of the suites are family tents, offering a sleeper couch to accommodate young children.
The Elephant Camp West consists of only four suites, making it ideal for larger families or small groups looking for an exclusive safari experience. The four luxury tented suites are spacious "marquis-style" tents that feature all the luxuries of the tented suites including their own private deck and plunge pool which overlook the Mosi Oa Tunya (smoke that thunders).
Activities offered at the camp include a guided tour of the falls, elephant interaction, lunch at the Lookout Cafe, cocktails and canapes at the Batonka Gorge, a visit to the Victoria Falls Wildlife Trust, a cultural village tour, birding and nature walks on the concession, mountain bike rides through the Victoria Falls National Park, and a Victoria Falls Canopy Tour.
The lodge provides sumptuous comfort for those seeking close encounters with Africa's wildlife, unique experiences, and relaxation. With an emphasis on exclusivity and personalized service, Elephant Camp ensures a memorable and luxurious stay.

"We spent two nights at this wonderful camp and wished it was for ever. This is 5 star camping with your own veranda and plunge pool. The service and food was excellent and the staff were unrivaled in helpfulness. Thank you."
"I have never stayed in such luxury tented accommodation. It was October and very hot so the private plunge pool was used a lot. Overlooking the bush was special, the food and friendliness of the staff was amazing and two highlights were the elephant interaction and also meeting Sylvester the cheetah. I loved being away from the business of The Falls."
"We spent 2 nights at Elephant Camp and were blown away. The lodging was above and beyond our expectation with luxurious but comfortable suite-sized tents. The food was universally delicious and the staff super-friendly and helpful."
"All amenities, beautiful tent and furnishings, great food and service! Staff very accommodating, and kind. Loved having Sylvester on site. Had a medical issue, and manager very helpful. Liked the stocked fridge, and toiletries."
"Great location with distant views across the bush to Victoria Falls. Very attentive staff with excellent chef in (big) luxury drinks/dining tent made every evening a treat. Went with our 4 children and everyone loved it."
"Everything from the food, the main tent to our own tent was absolutely perfect. The staff were extremely accommodating and did everything, they could to be of service. One of our highlights was meeting Sylvester the Cheetah Ambassador and walking with him through the bush! What an incredible experience. Thank you Elephant Camp for giving us a stay to always remember!"
"Elephant Camp is an experience not to be missed! Staff was friendly, efficient and attentive and food and accommodations were all first rate. Only about a 10 minute drive to Victoria Falls (transport and guide provided by Elephant Camp). Make sure to sign up for "Walk with Sylvester" (ambassador cheetah)!"
"Our experience at Elephant Camp exceeded our expectations in every way. The staff was extremely professional and friendly, accommodations were superb, the food was delicious, and the guide was fantastic."
"My partner and I had a wonderful time at Ivory Lodge and we are looking forward to our next stay there! Great location, perfect service, delicious meals stylish rooms, committed staff and lots of animals to watch."
"We brought a group of eight to Ivory Lodge and had a fantastic time. We spent one full day and another morning driving in Hwange and we had good sightings of lions on a buffalo carcass, a cheetah resting, giraffes drinking, and painted dogs romping along the roadside. The wildlife viewing on the private concession was a bit less exciting but we had amazingly close encounters with the elephants as they drank water from the many small pools. The accommodations were very nice and the staff took really good care of all of us and in particular the member of our group who had some mobility challenges. The food was quite good and the bar was well stocked so I highly recommend Ivory Lodge."
"We stayed 4 nights here (original plan 3) and it was just amazing. The things that made this exceptional included: the thoughtfulness of itinerary planning (our brief was 'how do we fit in as much as possible?' - nailed it), the sunset walk with Silvester which is so very different (and better in a more real wildlife sense) than the general 'cheetah experience' offered here, which is still cool, the lovely bar staff who mastered our choice of fun drink very quickly and were nice to chat to, the food including announcement of the menu courtesy of chef, the fact that the cleaning staff work around your hours, warthogs in the garden...hmmm, basically everything then."
"John and Sarah were a delight! Cheerful, helpful, and knowledgeable about their camp and environs. The camp was just what we expected, complete with Impala sleeping in front of our tent, and elephants wandering through in the afternoon. The staff was solicitous and helpful, always making the extra effort to be sure you were well looked after. Our guide Stan was a real joy, very knowledgeable, always willing to help you get the perfect photo, and LOVES birds. We saw over 70 species of birds during our two days with Stan. The camps were a great value for the money, all inclusive, not constantly dinging you for extra charges. It was a truly amazing experience to find this level of luxury and service in the wilds of Zimbabwe. The elephant encounter and meeting Sylvester the cheetah were incredible highlights to cap our visit to Vic Falls. This was a once-in-a lifetime trip for us, I just hope we have another opportunity to visit again."
