"We stayed for 3 nights and it was everything and more than we had hoped for. There are so many lovely touches and the staff make you feel so at home. The guides obviously have a great love of their work and it was a pleasure to be in the company of such knowledgeable people. It was without doubt a five star experience"

"Loved it - a must visit and hope you have the team we had, from management to stuff. Well done for making us so welcoming. The team of AK and Foster were outstanding and we saw the big five. Michelle you have a super team."

"You never know what to expect on your first trip to Africa, but what we found at Tintswalo Safai Lodge are the makings of a truly magical experience. The food, the hospitality, the facilities, the rooms, the amenities, the staff and the guides/spotters/drivers. All helped to make this the most special trip of our lives. We could not recommend Tintswalo highly enough!"

"This was our first Safari and we did not know what to expect. Tintswalo is everything you could want and more. Our first day, an elephant came to the watering hole by the lodge as we were having lunch and we regularly had elephants, buffalo and Impala just outside our room. The rooms are all private suites with private views and private plunge pools, superior furnishings and elaborate baths. The food is well served and delicious. But the safaris can't be beat. Andrew and Simon were our guides and they were experts at finding everything as well as being very entertaining and great company. Andrew knew almost everything about the animals, birds, reptiles and insects and Simon could spot anything (including. Small crock) as well as tell us about African bush culture. We not only saw the big five in just one afternoon drive but we were very close by to them. We saw many other animals (I counted at least twenty one different animals) and birds as well as learning animal behavior and tracking. Andrew even pointed out constellations. One morning we took a bush walk and came close to an elephant! On our drives we regularly got close to lions and actually saw them hunt. I could go on but you really should see for yourself. Note that they rarely take more than six guests on an open vehicle at a time and you rarely see other vehicles unless a pride of lions or a leopard has been found. At the time we left wifi was being installed in all guest rooms."

"We spent 2 nights at Tintswalo Safari Lodge in the Manyeleti Reserve just north of the Sabi Sands and on the western border of the Kruger National Park. Keeping in mind there are no fences separating the above mentioned areas. The lodge is extremely well appointed and the staff literally ensures that every single need is catered for. The suites are spacious and luxurious with each having their own splash pool. A small spa is also on offer for massages and other treatments. The game viewing in the Manyeleti was also superb and we saw all of the Big Five within our first game drive and saw some of the best lion sightings I have ever seen in Africa! We ended up seeing 34 different lions in the 2 days and 4 game drives we had."

"I have been dreaming of this vacation for all my life. It was better than I could have ever imagined! Emily and Tanya greeted and hosted me as if I was a member of their family. I could not have felt more welcomed and at "home." Emily took the time to get to know me and made my stay that much more enjoyable. She is truly a tremendous asset to Tintswalo. Alistair, the head ranger, went above and beyond to show me a great time. From pre-drive morning coffees to mid-afternoon cocktail lounging in the shade of the waterhole, he was more than just an accomplished ranger; he was a first class host as well. His knowledge of the bush is remarkable. Not only will you see the Big Five and all the general game, but you learn so much knowledge in the process. He will not rush you thru sightings, he will personalize the experience to you, amazing! I celebrated my birthday while at Tintswalo, and they pulled out all the stops. After a night of game viewing, I was surprised with a candlelit Birthday dinner out in the bush! I have never felt more cared for and looked after than during my stay at Tintswalo. I have no doubt in my mind that I will be returning to Tintswalo in the future. Dreams really do come true! Thank you Tintswalo team!"

"I never saw the place like this. So near to wild nature and the animals! Elephants family just before our house during the breakfast. The cook! His name is Jonathan and I would like to take him with us."
- Martin
"The staff, the lodge, the animals, the food... It is all amazing.. I love this place. The staff is very nice and always helpful without being intrusive. AK and Foster are awesome at finding animals and don't give up until they do if you are looking for something in particular. They really deliver. The food is really good and the spa cannot be beat. I did the private bath after my massage on the deck and it was amazing. The rooms are large and have private pool and animals walking all over the grounds. Love the elephant that comes to drink in front of the dining area. This concession only has a few properties so you are not competing for sightings like at some other places. Do yourself a favor and stay here."

"We spent 4 days in Tintswalo Safari Lodge and we had 4 amazing days. The lodge itself is a gem in the middle of wild nature, each bungalow is finely furnished and you have at your disposal a wonderful mini pool outside on the private porch facing the wild nature from which you can contemplate the several animals passing by the lodge. The food was always really good and they surprise you every time changing the dining location. Obviously the most important thing is the safari excursion which is done twice a day and thanks to the expert rangers we were able to spot all possible animals and plus we got a lot of information. Highly recommended."

"We stayed at Tintswalo for 5 nights recently, and it was everything we could imagine, and more. Everyone was so wonderful, the lodge was beautiful, and we were very kindly upgraded to the Presidential Suite-which was unbelievable. The level of service and kindness was amazing, the entire staff was wonderful. The game drives with Andrew and Simon were so great we didn't mind getting up early. They guys were so entertaining and informative and they found everything we were looking for and more. The big Five! Lions galore! Wild dog puppies-thanks guys! Also, a big thanks to Kenneth, who took care of us so well. Already dreaming of a return! If you get a chance-go-you will have the time of your life! Thanks for helping make us such wonderful memories. Matt, Karen and Stacey Gledich"
