"Nice private camp. Small and convenient. Very good service. Excellent game drives. Good food. Friendly people. Clean. Not cheap."
"we enjoyed the warm hospitality and wonderful service at Hoyo Hoyo lodge. The food was varied and tasty and the accommodation comfortable in high traditional conical huts. staff were very friendly and helpful. Only the outdoor shower was not so welcoming as it was so cold in the early and late part of the day."
"Super location, very good accommodation, wonderful staff, great trackers, excellent food, fantastic value - and saw so much game."

"We had a great stay at Hoyo Hoyo Lodge. A lovely welcome, perfect cooked meals, a lot of free drinks during the day and an ranger that made it possible to see a lot of the animals from very close distance. We can really recommend the Lodge! Thank you for these days!"

"Brilliant experience! The food was excellent and the accommodation was great!! Will do it again."
"The Hoyo Hoyo was unlike anything I have experienced and I have traveled to many countries. I think the best part of the Hoyo Hoyo was the staff. They are from a local tribe and they really offer you that South African experience. They are so nice and they work so hard to give you the best. The huts are adorable and cozy while still being luxurious. The beds are heavenly and there is nothing better than sitting out on your deck while watching the animals. When I tell people that I stayed here they seem to think I went to some zoo but there was literally an elephant outside the main lodge just eating the bushes like it was no big deal. It was awesome. The food at the Hoyo Hoyo is also incredible. I dream about the food all the time!! Since it is far away from cities and lights you can look up at the night sky and see stars everywhere. The two daily game drives are so much fun and seeing the animals never gets old. If you tell the driver what animals you want to see they will drive you to them. The Hoyo Hoyo left me with great memories and I wouldn't stay anywhere else while in Kruger! I miss this place soooo much and I cannot wait to go back to see the staff and be in heaven once again."
"Hoyo Hoyo was our first stop on our African adventure. The rooms are very cute and comfortable and separated enough so that you do not hear or see other guests. Outdoor shower was great and lots of hot water. It was cool in the mornings but nice and warm during the day and evening. The food was great and a large variety was available. We saw the 'big 5' many times and our game driver Thiember was very accommodating and managed to point our lots of animals and birds we would not have seen on our own, he also stopped whenever we asked him to and allowed us all sufficient time to get good photos. They give you lined ponchos to wear and hot water bottles during the morning Safaris so it was very comfortable. I think overall the staff make the difference and nothing seemed too much trouble for them to do."
"We stayed 2 nights at Hoyo Hoyo and really enjoyed our stay. The staff was excellent and the food was pretty good. Our room was cozy and provided a good place to recharge after being out on the game drive. Only complaint we had, and no fault to Hoyo Hoyo was that we didn't see as much wildlife during some of the drives. Overall a memorable experience!"
"When my husband and I travel, in order to avoid fights, we each get to choose a place to stay. He chose Hoyo-Hoyo Safari Lodge. Although he chose it, it may very well be my favorite spot in the world. Yes, the world. I am an American, living in Honolulu, sitting on vacation in Perth leaving for Bali tomorrow. I've lived in Washington D.C., Jakarta, Indonesia, New Orleans, LA and I am trying to travel great and far to find out where in the world I want to be. I think I've already found it. It is South Africa, Kruger National Park, Hoyo-Hoyo Safari Lodge. Not only are the sights amazing, the staff is welcoming, fun and just flat out wonderful."
