Planning a safari can be daunting

"My wife and I have not travelled overseas in over 10 years and I was intimidated by all the options out there for booking a safari. "Anja has been great in making our travel reservations. She is very quick and responsive (at all hours, I'm not sure when she sleeps). We went back and forth on 39 emails. Yes, 39 emails for a couple of weeks. She made several different itineraries in a range of prices, types of accommodation and locations. We finally decided on our perfect trip."

"After attempting to book this trip myself, I gave up and reached out to Sara. By the next day she had created several wonderful itineraries. Within seven days I was booked and all set. Sara was available at all times, before, during and after the trip [...] We stayed at the Victoria & Alfred in Cape Town, then off to Dulini Moya in Sabi Sands, and finally Victoria Falls Island Treehouse in Zimbabwe. "As elderly, world travellers our best adventure ever was last year's safari trip to Sabi Sabi & Cape Town planned by Dolan Sequera. Immediate responses to my many, many questions. He arranged all lodging, internal airlines and ground transportation. We are returning with our family this year and of course Dolan has handled all our plans, as well as our daughter's."

"I can't say enough good things about Safari.com and in particular Dolan Sequera. South Africa was daunting to plan for. I did a lot of research and chose Safari.com and was matched with Dolan. Our trip was sixteen days and we visited Cape Town, an elephant sanctuary, and a safari [...] He even welcomed me when I landed in South Africa and checked in along our trip. Same price, better service

Luxury support, without the premium price.

Lodges and operators are required to sell at the same industry rate. We are paid by the lodges, not by you. The result is a specialist concierge included on top of the rate you would have paid anyway.

Pointless to book direct when Safari.com can do it all at the same cost

"I wasn't planning to use a travel company as we are experienced travellers, used to booking our own arrangements. The cost of going direct with suppliers and going through Safari.com was exactly the same. With Safari.com you also have outstanding service and advice, which makes it pointless to do it yourself. Leigh-Ann Croeser has been extremely helpful in organising our itinerary."

"I cannot recommend Anja Meyer at Safari.com enough. This is our 3rd trip in 2 years that we have planned with Anja and we cannot imagine using any other travel planner. As travelers who deliberately seek experiences that go beyond the expected, and a bit of luxury that feels authentic, every single trip that we have booked with Anya has been a complex, multi country itinerary- we are definitely not easy to plan for. What sets Anja apart from other travel planners (and we have used several planners from top agencies) is her ability to partner with us and truly understand our preferences, pace and unspoken/ unwritten requirements. We would be remiss if we didn't mention her work ethic - she is incredibly responsive despite major time differences (I don't think she sleeps :) ). The results are always extraordinary journeys that feel very tailored to us. This most recent trip planned with Anja will take us across Namibia, Botswana and Mauritius - we can't wait!!"
