This 11 day tour is a combination of a vibrant bustling city with an African safari experience in two uniquely different regions of South Africa.
You arrive at Cape Town International Airport where you are met and transferred by road to Ellerman House. Perhaps this afternoon you will visit the attractive Victoria and Alfred Waterfront or relax by the pool with your favorite drink.
The next three days are yours to explore the beauty of Cape Town. There are several tours you could take that offer scenery, wildlife, history, and South African cuisine. Please speak to one of our travel experts for more information on the various tour option.
This morning starts very early as you transfer to the airport for a short light aircraft flight to Tswalu. On arrival, you are welcomed by the Tswalu staff and taken to the lodge where you will check in and enjoy the lodge facilities and lunch. Later this afternoon, you will venture out on your first game drive in search of rare and endangered species such as the desert black rhino and antelope endemic to the region.
Tswalu captures many diverse habitats with semi-arid grasslands and open savannahs. You will spend the next two days exploring the Kalahari on game drives, bush walks, and horseback as you encounter over 80 species of mammals and approximately 240 species of birds.
After a scrumptious breakfast, you bid farewell to the Kalahari and transfer to the airstrip for your light aircraft flight to Johannesburg. On arrival, you will connect with your light aircraft flight to the Sabi Sands Game Reserve. A short road transfer brings you to your lodge where you will settle in before heading out on your first Big 5 game drive.
The next two days will be exciting with morning and afternoon game drives. There are many advantages to staying in a private reserve, but top of the list is the safari experience. Game drives at Dulini are limited to six people per vehicle, each with a skilled ranger and tracker. Your safari experience is sure to be exceptional with the exclusive option to drive off-road. In between game drives, you also have the option to partake in bush walks, which are sure to heighten your senses and is highly recommended for the adventurous safari-goer.
After a final morning game drive and breakfast, you bid farewell to the African bush as you transfer to the nearby airstrip for your light aircraft flight to Johannesburg. Your safari adventure has come to an end as you start your journey back home.

Pascal John was very patient and worked with us to make a trip that could tie up with our international return tickets. We could reverse the sequence to visit Botswana first, finish in Sabi and found earlier flight to get us back in time . No pressure, genuine support.
