The Details

528 | Victoria Falls sits on Reynard Road in a quiet residential suburb of Victoria Falls town, around two miles from the town centre and a similar distance from the waterfall itself. Victoria Falls Airport is roughly twelve miles away. The architecture is modern but timeless, with rich colours and textures, bespoke chandeliers and locally carved pieces that give each space its own character.

The crowning feature is Treetops, a rooftop bar looking out over the ribbon of the Zambezi River to Zambia, where guests can watch the sun set and the lights of Livingstone come on. It runs on an honesty bar policy with tea and coffee available. A separate lounge and dining room overlook the pool and gardens, and there are quiet corners throughout the main building and grounds to read or relax.

Accommodation

Eight en-suite rooms in total: five king or twin doubles, one triple, one family room sleeping four with a double and bunk beds, and a family suite of two interleading en-suite rooms sleeping up to five. Every room has air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, a hair dryer, in-room safe and a well-appointed bathroom. The Bungalow is a freestanding villa on the same property with two en-suite bedrooms, a lounge with kitchenette and a private garden, sleeping a minimum of four and giving guests privacy with full access to the main house amenities. Exclusive use is available for up to 22 guests on request.

Dining

A cold spread and cooked-to-order hot breakfast is included each morning. Restaurant bookings can be arranged for lunch and dinner, and the town's restaurants are a short, inexpensive taxi ride away. The rooftop Treetops bar serves drinks on an honesty basis through the day and into the evening.

Activities

The team helps coordinate Victoria Falls activities and tours, from waterfall visits and sundowner cruises on the Zambezi to wider excursions. Transfers can be arranged from Victoria Falls Airport, Kasane Airport and Livingstone Airport at fixed per-person rates.
