Ezulwini Billy’s Lodge

Ezulwini Billy’s Lodge, set along a seasonal river in Olifants West Game Reserve, offers breathtaking views of wildlife and the calls of lions at night. The lodge’s organic African design features grand lounges, spacious decks, a skywalk to a nearby waterhole, and a unique wine cellar built into a rock face.

Ezulwini River Lodge

Ezulwini River Lodge, located along the Olifants River in a lush riverine forest, is a haven for wildlife enthusiasts and birdwatchers. The lodge’s organic African design includes inviting indoor and outdoor lounges, a dining room, a wine-tasting room, and a pool area under a thatched roof. Elevated walkways and a sky deck provide sweeping views of the river, while a nearby tower offers breathtaking panoramas of the plains, perfect for spotting antelope and baboons.

Ezulwini River Lodge features four ultra-luxury suites, including the Matumi Honeymoon Suite with plunge pools and river views, as well as a family room with a private pool. Budget-friendly options include four standard chalets. Rooms accommodate up to three adults, or two adults and two children, with sleeper couches available for additional guests upon request.

While staying at one of the stunning lodges, guests can immerse themselves in South Africa’s rich wine culture by sampling a selection of fine local wines in the tasting rooms. As the lodges are located a fair distance from the nearest town, accommodating last-minute dietary requests may be difficult. With advance notice, Ezulwini caters to vegetarians, lactose- and gluten-free diets, and other requirements.
