Luxurious Accommodations
Fothergill offers two distinct lodging options: the Lake Suites and Little Fothergill. The Lake Suites comprise five luxury suites and two family suites, all featuring private decks with lake or forest views. Little Fothergill consists of three exclusive-use suites, providing an intimate setting for families or groups. Each suite is thoughtfully designed with natural materials and modern amenities to ensure comfort and relaxation.

Fothergill is open year-round, offering unique experiences across different seasons.
- Dry Season (May to October): This period is ideal for wildlife viewing, as animals congregate around water sources, and the sparse vegetation enhances visibility.
- Wet Season (November to March): The landscape becomes lush and green, attracting migratory birds and offering picturesque scenery. While some activities may be weather-dependent, the wet season provides a tranquil and rejuvenating atmosphere.
Where
Lake Suites
These seven suites, including two family units, are situated along the lakeshore or within the mopane forest. Each suite features spacious interiors, en-suite bathrooms, and private outdoor decks, allowing guests to enjoy the surrounding nature in comfort.
Little Fothergill
Comprising three exclusive-use suites, Little Fothergill offers a private and personalised experience. Guests have access to dedicated staff, including a private safari guide and chef, ensuring a tailored and memorable stay.

Long stay
Combine a stay at Camp Hwange with Fothergill, taking a minimum of three nights at each, and your one-way Mack Air flight between Hwange and Fothergill is complimentary. The offer runs for travel until 30 November 2026, with a further window from 1 April to 30 November 2027, and requires a minimum of two guests. It cannot be combined with any other promotion, and Shumba airstrip service fees remain payable per take-off and landing, including on the complimentary flight.
