Located near the equator, Rwanda’s elevated terrain provides a comfortable tropical climate with an average yearly temperature of about 15.5°C. The year is divided into two wet seasons (March–May and October–November), which bring rain, and two dry seasons (June–September and December–February), which are generally cooler with light clouds and occasional showers.

Electricity

Rwanda operates on 230 volts with a 50 Hz frequency. Visitors should bring a voltage converter if their devices do not support 230V at 50Hz.
