The Details
Location
The lodge sits in the western corridor of the Serengeti, close to the Grumeti River. This is the stretch of the migration route where wildebeest and zebra mass on the riverbanks between June and August, waiting to cross past resident crocodiles. Outside migration season the resident game remains strong, with big cats, elephant and buffalo across the surrounding plains and woodlands.
Accommodation
Guest suites carry the lodge's art-led identity, with commissioned pieces and textiles from African artists set against canvas walls and timber decks. Each suite has a private veranda facing the bush, with indoor and outdoor showers and a generous lounge area.
Dining
Meals run full board, with a rotating menu that draws on East African produce and international dishes. The bar carries premium-brand spirits, wines and beers, all included in the nightly rate. Private bush dinners and sundowners can be arranged on request.
Activities
Two guided activities are included each day, typically morning and afternoon game drives in open 4x4 vehicles. Guides know the Grumeti corridor well and time drives around the movement of the herds during migration months. Hot-air balloon safaris over the Serengeti plains can be added at extra cost.
