Situated on a graceful curve of the year-round Olifants River in the northern reaches of Balule Game Reserve, this newly established tented camp offers stunning views both up and down the river from its elevated location on the southern bank.
No children under 16 years of age are allowed at Bundox River Lodge. However, children aged 12 years and older are welcome if the camp is booked exclusively.
Children under 16 will not be allowed to participate in walking safaris.
Anticipate picnic lunches in picturesque locations, sundowners atop a koppie with breathtaking views, evenings spent stargazing, and the chance to share safari stories by the campfire. Enjoy wonderful home-cooked meals, spectacular views, and exceptional opportunities for game viewing.
The camp features five spacious en-suite double safari tents, three of which have twin beds. Each tent is equipped with a full bathroom, including a single vanity, mirror, and amenities, along with a fan to ensure comfort. Guests can relax on a multi-level viewing deck with a plunge pool, a lounge area, and a boma. Dining options include both outdoor and covered spaces, and there is a guest toilet located near the deck.
In keeping with a strong focus on sustainability and environmental conservation, the camp is entirely solar-powered. For this reason, hairdryers are not permitted on the premises.
Due to the camp's remote location, mobile connectivity may be limited and inconsistent. This is especially true during load shedding, when cell phone signals can weaken.
Disconnect from the hustle and bustle of daily life and enjoy a digital detox. The camp is off the grid and powered by 220v solar energy.
