Kapamba Bushcamp offers a tranquil retreat nestled in the wildlife-abundant southern part of South Luangwa National Park. This serene hideaway features four stone-and-thatch chalets and a main area with a deck that provides expansive 180-degree views of the Kapamba River. For a truly immersive experience, guests have the option to sleep outdoors under the stars on a raised sala, fully connecting with the sights, sounds, and sensations of Africa.
Kapamba Bushcamp offers four open-fronted chalets designed to blend seamlessly with the surrounding wilderness. Each chalet features twin beds that can be transformed into an imperial king-size bed for added luxury. For safety, wrought-iron gates are secured over the entrances each evening.
The chalets are well-appointed with twin showers that boast scenic river views, a wash basin, and a toilet. Notably, two of the chalets include raised salas equipped with a mosquito net, toilet, and sink, positioned perfectly for an unforgettable night sleeping under the stars. All chalets benefit from solar-powered hot and cold running water. Essential toiletries such as soap, shampoo, conditioner, and skin moisturizer are thoughtfully provided. For added comfort, each room is equipped with standing floor fans and mosquito nets, ensuring a restful night's sleep in the heart of Africa.
A swimming pool overlooking the river offers a tranquil setting for relaxation. The camp also includes a fully stocked bar for guests' enjoyment. Sustainability is key at Kapamba, with the camp being solar-powered and offering limited charging facilities for devices.
Illumination is provided by eco-friendly solar lighting and traditional paraffin lamps, maintaining an authentic bush ambiance. Additionally, guests benefit from a complimentary limited laundry service, adding convenience to their safari experience.
Activities at the camp include both day and night game drives, along with walking safaris. For guests seeking a more personalized experience, a private guide and vehicle are available for an additional fee. A specially adapted photographic vehicle is also available for those interested in wildlife photography. Additionally, guests can enjoy sundowners by the river, creating memorable evenings in the wild.
10% discount on accommodation for any stay of 7 consecutive nights or more (camps can be combined).
